i kind of enjoy the fact that alot of its percussive / noisey, then overtones appear and disappear. I really like it especially when she moves into those strange coloured chord sequences (im not a guitarist so not sure of the terms.) they are really really moving for me.

wow... what is this supposed to? A very poorly executed attempted at slap-guitar? Timing is off. She's got finger technique, but the girl cannot write music. Repetitive music lacking any sort of creativity. Leave it to Hedges.

she said she did terrible on this performance cuz she played it too fast cuz she was so nervous. also, she said her choice of vest was poor and shouldn't have worn it. she's really an amazing composer, her "...until we felt red" album is absolutely stunning.

Has nothing to do with taste since as you point out all art is relative. I don't think she is great, everything she does on guitar I can do and I am great. More importantly you statement lacks objectivity. You say she is great but people have different tastes, but clearly Rush are the greatest instrumental band of the past 40 years in prog rock. So even if she has different tastes wouldn't she then still be able to acknowledge how great Rush is? That's a contradiction...
