I'm really happy for how far Pixar has gotten in the medium of movies, and I'm really overjoyed that UP gets to be the second animated movie in ages to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture.

As for this short, it's amazing that it managed to tie up certain loose ends that I never even thought about, but I am thrilled that they were explored. All in all, it is my honor to make it my PICK OF THE WEEK video...for this week. :)

That's b/c this is probably a work in progress animation and they had some people fill in the voices for now until this is fully animated in 2D or usually 3D, and then they'll bring back the original voice actors to voice their characters. That's my guess.

I know Dug's voice is stil the same.

It's more than likely an animated storyboard pitch they presented when they were trying to figure out what would be the DVD short. Something tells me it came very close to winning since they spent the time to color it. Normally, Pixar just leaves it in pencil when filming their animatics (as seen in their past Behind the Scenes).
