Ok, let's say Texas succeded to become a break away republic of the US. Would it be ok if it joined Russia's missle defense system? Remember Texas "was" it's own country at one time. I don't think former USSR countries should be included in any NATO alliance. Poland yes but not Ukraine or Georgia. As an American I can see where Russia is coming from. The US would have invaded Texas if it tried to broke away so who are we to judge.

Some differences between Texas and Ukraine i'd like to point out: Texas was a part of USA on voluntary basis. Ukraine was made to join the Russia by force. USA never did a Genocide in Texas. Russia killed 10 mio. people only in 1933 (add all kulaks sent to Siberia before). USA and Texas had the same cultural background & US didn't prohibit English more than 100 times as Russia did in Ukraine. Ukraine was a part of USSR not Russia. So get your facts right dude! But the USA has been spending trillions of dollars since the Great Depression just so it wouldn't look like it is suffering. I didn't try tricking. I suppose you mean you also lied about everything, it's a bit unclear what you meant by that. The bottom line is that life isn't as rich anywhere else as in America. The American government does a lot of deficit spending to ensure that, but it isn't bad in a lot of other countries like England, Germany, and Russia. That's why these countries have high immigration rates. Every country has cons. England and Russia have a lot of crime, Italy has a higher poverty ratio, etc.

no. nato is anti-Russian military alliance, therefore if a country, especially former Soviet Union country wants to enter nato, it poses threat to Russia, and Russia opposes such activity. a country has no right to destabilize the region by joining a military block.

Firstly these countries will have to change its territories' size, which Russia has given to them so generously. Because the agreement of friendship we still have with them will be canceled. How come you are saying that you are raising 3rd world countries. Are you talking about the former Soviet Republics? In some former Soviet repulics living standards are the same as in Russia. And many of them even are members of World Trade Organization while Russia still can't get into it because of its undemocratic practicies.
