When I was LARPing this year, on our larp it was the Song of the Gods, the song of origin... We didn't know, it's a song in the real world, too, we thought it was only a strange melody and even more strange words invented by the larp crew. But when the whole group met at dawn after three hours of exhausting march and sang "emmeleia"... It was beautiful. The rising sun, mountains and this song. Now it isn't for me only an amazing song, but also memories. It's another reason to like it.
interesting, but honestly the song of prayer sounds like a very sober, sad, dark, however, I really like it. I found the translation of the name "emmeleia" it means the "origin of the universe", seen in a certain way means harmonization, what you tell me about the lyrics are amazing. thanks for the information. @_@
Emmeleia in Greek ἐμμέλεια,gracefulness or harmonization was the name of the grave and dignified dance of tragedy in the theatre of ancient Greece each dramatic genre featured its chorus dance, being the emmelīa in tragedy, the kordax in comedy, and the sicinnis in satyr-play. The lyrics derive from Lisa Gerrard's usual glossolalia, but because she had to write down a phonetic version for Brendan Perry, structured a language. Written transcriptions exist but no language could be recognized
