They certianly are not fired after falling once. I worked for cirque years ago, and performers do make mistakes during live perfomances more often than you realise. They are human after all. In most cases if they fall they just return to practice for a while.

I respect these performers so much... It takes a lot of hard work to do what they do. No matter what the production is, dress rehearsals will always be shabby. saw this show by the way, and it ROCKED! (p.s. i don't like this song)
