Unreleased Geordie Walker, Martin Atkins, Jah Wobble Damage Manual
Got a rare unreleased Damage Manual recording from 2000 Berwick Street sessions in London on my channel. Check it out... with Alex Harvey flexi-disc interview for vocals. "The Streets Belong To You" Alex harvey + Damage Manual aka W.A.W. Walker Atkins Wobble. Enjoy this link!!! And spread it around to those worthy of receiving!!!! Also lots of cool Killing Joke live footage I shot with the Geordie cam on my channel.
I was also at this show. The sound was HORRID (you can barely hear Geordie at all) but I still have the whole show on audio. I drove a long way just to see Geordie.
Geordie rocks so much that he doesn't even need to move around!!! In my opinion most other guitarists dive about like twats because they know they need to cover up the fact they have nothing great to offer in their playing!
The real story is that after the visa issues (which I think had to do with late filing of the applications, since Wobble's had no trouble getting into the country before or since), Wobble had agreed to play a showcase gig in NYC. But then Atkins went and booked a whole tour without telling Wobble until the last minute, at which point Wobble told him to fuck off. That's why Levi was drafted in. Total bummer.
I saw them around the same time in NYC. I had a ticket to the original tour that was cancelled because of Jah Wobble's Visa problems, though it was summer, not early 2000. Saw them in Oct. when they played NYC for CMJ w/ Charles Levi on bass. Ari Up from the Slits opened. It was a great show. I got to hang out on their bus for a while, and En Esch showed up as well. Oh, it was a magical show and a magical night.
Hell, yeah!!! I was at this show!!! Thanks so much for posting this...I actually just bought the Damage Manual DVD and was kind of disappointed to learn that the "Live at the Double Door" bonus feature consisted of only two songs. Now I have this, too!!!

I had tickets to see them in Pittsburgh for this tour. The date was canceled and never rescheduled. One of the biggest disappointments of my life.
