  • Wow. Thank you. My family left Hungary in 1956,when I had just turned 5, as well.We ended up in Canada, because I got malaria in the refugee camp in Marseile while waiting for the ship to Argentina. It wasn't until 1987 that I finally returned for a 4 week visit. I visited my hometown of Miskolc and I had absolutely no problem finding our old home. I don't know how or why, but I led the entire family to the house, which was on Tecsey Ferenc utsa, right across the street from the Catholic Church.

  • Idiot country they remember 56 but not 45 when the Russians rescued them. They should be thankful they are not speaking German today.

  • @boristu154 really? Do you really know what happened with 1/3 of the hungarian people during the communist era? My country can thank the sovjets for going into Norway and then leaving. Maby if the Russians had done the same in Hungary, then they would thank them... Btw the last hungarian to come home from the siberian "work" camps came back to hungary in 2001!!

  • @boristu154

What the hell are you talking?????? The ruskys (soviets) war our enemy. The germans was our allies. We was have own government and army who fought against the Soviets. The Germans are not forced into it voluntarily we fought against the Soviets to the bitter end. So shut the hell up.

  • I dunno man but living in this country is like living inside a twilight zone. everyone seem to look old

  • thanks for posting this is awesome video!

  • Very good film. Heroic man, that Julius.

  • Why the hell does he look like my Social's teacher?

  • @soinc16 because you harbor some weird psychosomatic feelings towards him since that day when he kept you after class:)))

  • What a remarkable story! It's frustrating to see the comments here saying these smugglers do it only for the money. Who among us has perfectly pure motives? These people put their own lives at risk to help others. Whatever their full motivation, they deserve thanks.

I appreciate Mr. Murray as well, for going through the effort and emotional pain of seeking out all of these people. Most people would not have the means, the opportunity or the courage to do that. Bravo!

  • different types of people smugglers guys, c''mon....

  • Amazing story, amazing trail, and amazing old people!

  • @TheBriansDenn Shut Up! U unamerican terrorist:)))))

  • Fantastic documentary, thanks a lot for making and uploading.

  • Excellent work men. Thoroughly interesting, honourable and worthwhile story.

  • interesting that the same fkers that destroyed the economies in the 30s, are building their war chest for the next big bang ,if one thing is constant is that history repeats itself.

  • why are there ppl constantly finding arguments on the comment section? as if there isn't enough conflict in reality already, do ppl still need to take it to the internet?

  • @PigSty1985 some people say arguments other say debates. Some are just debates masked in taunts.

  • powerful film

  • This is just an individual affected by extreme circumstances going back in time, nostalgia. But it is still intended to affect us if not for propaganda then for ratings. Remember the revolution but don’t forget it is over for now. Now we need to watch out for the next tyrannical regimen which tends to evolve from what we have already. People smuggling is exploitation no matter who they exploit and what their circumstances are.

  • @YAYFUL1 Not always unless you think the everything is exploitation.

  • @macspud28 it's money orientated

  • expect this shit to get reuploaded.

  • @USFullofLies2 dude just appreciate for what's being given to you...

  • How much would it cost to get smuggled into a country? I'd love to do that. I have no opportunities where I live so it's either become a dealer and get the fuck out of here

  • @mralanv

do you live in the uk

  • Ironically, once again, it's an Orbán who helps people flee their country. Just now the Orbán is not friendly and helpful at all... Éljen a köztársaság!

  • man its good to see Les again miss him

  • @USFullofLies2 stupid comment

  • @MasterAsra Totally right I said the same thing to him lol I bet u he didn't even watch the program. He's one of those ppl that if there's an Earthquake or Sunami somewhere he'll immediately blames the Americans for it LMAO!Well take it easy and Happy New Year

  • @jozsefkacsa As if there isn't enough real stuff to blame on the Americans.

  • @USFullofLies2 Your little anonymous message proves my theory that you're a Yellow Bellied,Spineless,Backstabbing,Coward,Scumbag nothing more than a little Scared,Slimy little Maggot. One Disgusting Human Being.Don't even bother to answer Scumbag!!!
