The Folks from Mother’s Mixer is a compilation of tracks recorded in the early 1970s by the band Black Merda. It was released in 2005 and collects all the tracks from the band’s two original albums, Black Merda (1970) and Long Burn the Fire (1972).

They don't care what Merda means in Italian, Portuguese, Catalan
or any other language because they didn't get the spelling Merda from those languages.
It's the American slang spelling of murder as is the spelling murda.
The spelling Murda like spelling Merda is American slang spelling for Murder and is pronounced Murder.
So although the spelling Merda matches the spelling Merda in those languages
it's not derived from those languages.
