  • "Let's see what these angel wings can do!"

    -Marcus "Shamrock" Lambert, Garuda 2.

    "O.o"

    -Talisman, Garuda 1

  • Does the subtitle have any specific meaning?

To all things, there must be an end?

  • the estovokian military dislikes this cos we got rid of the weopion

  • fuck strigion team

  • I think this can be considered a sort of funeral dirge for Ace Combat, what with Assault Horizon being naught but a soulless collection of quicktime events and rail-shooting sections.

Luckily it's not, because Namco made it clear that AH is a temporary departure.

  • @Csp499 hopefully in the next one they learn that we just want our old baby back.

  • When I listen to this, I think of a hero in a bleak moment fighting against the Antichrist for the fate of the world. And this hero, the world's last hope, is loosing.

  • The destruction of Chandelier marks an end to the legacy of the Ulysses Incident.

  • @ChristopherNFoster And so marks the beginning of a new Era in Strangereal.

  • Yup, flying through heavy flak and a swarm of enemy fighters while trying desperately to stop a massive super weapon about to unleash a fiery holocaust on your homeland is some heavy stuff.

    Fuckin depressing in my opinion

  • the only thing that prevents me from playing this game is THE BOX!!! But I'll get it in the near future as my dream continues.. (Unfortunately with the damn box.)

  • Where's that picture from? Is it available anywhere?

  • "Shamrock! Respond! ..Marcus? MARCUS?!"

  • The fall of Avalon and the fall of Chandelier were by far some of the greatest moments in Ace Combat. Here's hoping future games live up to this series amazing legacy.

  • " Talisman... we can trust you with this... right? "

  • This game beside gears and halo is the only reason i want xbox. FUCK Kinect/FUCK move/FUCK Wii

  • Chandelier with the Mobius F-22 and Agnus Dei playing in the background.

Oh so fun. (You get shot down in 5 seconds if you decide to be predictable)

  • @dakingdog good god, that sounds impossible, i tried it and with the decrease in armor, especially on expert, you can get shot down after taking like, 2 rounds from an aa gun.

  • The second part of the song that starts after you destroy the cooling units gives me the chills O_O

  • The desperation in this mission was something special. I think it surpasses megalith.

  • @Yallniggasbetrollin I know. The fact that it's all vocals with no background instruments makes it all the more powerful. It feels kind of... pure. I guess it reflects the Emmerians' pure goal of defeating their enemy and ending this damn war just to stop the bloodshed and to secure the safety of their loved ones at home.

  • "Stauros launch in 5...4...3...2...1................... f##k, he blew up the core on time, didn't he?" *Garuda 1 flips off the Chandelier personnel from the cockpit*

  • Best Ace Combat Ever

  • @woundedwun

Lies. Ace Combat Zero is best Ace Combat.

  • @RPDhata Lies, it's a tie between 4 and 5 :P

I love those two because of the nostalgia they bring

  • I once managed to, and I swear I'm not making this up, bounce off the rear wall of the trench that you fly through near the end, then bounced off the wall on the other side of the hole and then bounce off the bottom of the Chandelier, which I somehow managed to survive. I saved the replay, so I'll try to upload a video of it if I can.

  • @DeloreandudeTommy You were playing in either easy or very easy mode, I forget which one it is, but I know in the easiest difficulty level you can't crash you just bounce off of surfaces

  • @ComradeDG Actually, I was playing on easy, but you can crash if you hit at the angle and speed I hit the walls at (>80 degrees perpendicular to the wall at over 500 kts in speed) but for some reason I didn't get destroyed during the endeavor.

  • 2 Chandelier personnel disliked this

  • GET THE MISSILE ALARM OUT OF MY HEAD!!!!!

  • I cant believe i gave away this game. :C

  • @Trollermao123 why would you ever do that? D:

  • @videohenryk I dont know. I guess I never fully expierienced this game :C Sorry if Exp is spelled wrong.

  • lol watch this video in "YouTube 1911"

  • 2 people wanted to finish the Chandelier

  • "Prepare the stauros to launch."

  • Brings a tear to my eye and a chill to my spine. Though from 2:37 on, it reminds me of "Operation Market Garden" from the Medal of Honor: Frontline soundtrack.

  • @Csp499 OH MY GOD! You are right! I love MoH's music!

  • @Csp499 when the WAFFEN-SS and Fallschirmjager were beating back the allied invasion of Holland

  • The best part to me: 3:15 That part made me fell the sadness, desolation and fear that Ulysses caused in the world of Ace Combat. And Chandelier is its final legacy... Actually, it made me have tears on my eyes... EPIC.

  • The best part to me: 3:15 That part made me fell the sadness, desolation and fear that Ulysses caused in the worl of Ace Combat. And Chandelier is its final legacy... Actually, it make me have tears on my eyes... EPIC.

  • I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but this song is not "to all things" (15b) the song that is on here is "chandalier" (15a)

  • You know, now that I come back to it, this was really a great level.... all the death... the chaos.... this song playing in the background your allies fall to the frozen earth. Truely... it was emotional to say the least. This wins second place... right behind Ace Combat zero's last level(s) (Because I really count the fight with pixy as part of the valley of kings)

  • And so the sun rises...

  • The guy who says "THE STAUROS IS FULLY LOADED AND READY TO LAUNCH." right before the operator goes 5.4.3.2.1 LAUNCH! sounds to be a malicious guy

  • Comment removed

  • 2:37 best part IMO

  • Man, I got chills listening to this. The game may have not been that good compared to other AC games, but this music is just epic and fitting for the mission. I can just imagine the barren, icy landscape with all the AA fire everywhere, explosions left and right, missile trails going this way and that, and when the operator says "5,4,3,2,1, LAUNCH!" in one of the most cold voices in the world. Every AC game has some kind of epic song at the end.

    Simply put: Beautiful.

  • @Razgriz2118yeah it is epic when the operator goes ''commence sarutos loading sequence begin launch'' when he says that everything goes silent but the only reason why this game was not that good is because it is so short i mean i beat it in one day

  • Comment removed

  • @Razgriz2118 yeah but if they make a new one it better be long as hell

  • the countdown thing in the background was fucking epic, it was like listening to a nuke being dropped, unfortunately it was just cruise missiles, but seriously who here got goosebumps when u heard "5...4...3...2...1...launch" in the most mono-toned yet epic voice EVER

  • @minigun20 i so did when the guy says that it gets so quiet

  • This song and mission reminded me of Schindler's List when the Nazis are rounding up the jews and that little girl in the red just walks through all the chaos.

  • Second part of the song always makes me feel uncomfortable. It's so fitting for when the situation becomes even more desperate when Chandelier just begins pumping out round after round faster than before.

  • god that mission was fun flying in all those tight spaces

  • "And so did The End To All Things unhinge its monstrous maw and bellow forth its mighty roar of desolation and horror, consuming The Golden Kingdom in holocaust. The Chandelier which hung over the faltering world of Man by a thinner thread than would exist alongside security awaited the chance to fall, defying The Angels who danced with haste toward their enemy . . . and the sacrificial fires of liberation."

  • @Virus1177 Is that phrase in the song? I listen closly and cant seem to hear it. I even googled that phrase but it sent me back here.

  • @Virus1177 It makes me feel all fuzzy inside knowing that someone quoted me. XD

  • @Trusseck Its a great poem. It deserves a place here.

  • @Virus1177 Thank you!

  • @Virus1177 where did u find this ?

  • @Virus1177 who the hell wrote this. IT'S FUCKIN BEAST. OMG

  • @Virus1177 dude that was deep

  • @Virus1177 Charished by all.

  • @Virus1177

WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FROM HOLY CRAP

  • @Virus1177 way too sexy did you really write that?

  • @Virus1177 that almost made me cry man thats beautiful

  • @Virus1177 what is this from? is this from the bible?

  • @jcastagnetta its the soundtrack to a video game. i hope you didn't think all video game songs were all beeps and whistles.

  • @dean84921 ? What does that have to do with me asking what the words are from?

  • @jcastagnetta oh sorry, didn't know what you meant. its some poem, these are the lyrics, "Age pass. Snow falls. All the earth sleeps beneath a blanket of white. Darkness clouds the sky. Snow falls without end. Recalling our past, we march on. Times of turmoil shall pass. Dawn fills our hearts with light. Our hopes rise with the brilliant. Sun rises with faith in tomorrow, we march on. "
  • This could be really fitting for something like a Final Judgment.

  • My thoughts upon reaching the final mission in AC6 (and afterburning through 6 minutes of dialogue):

"Oh boy...Ace Combat always the most KICKASS boss themes...I wonder...what is this?" *cries*

  • Anyone know the lyrics?

  • @AirshipCanon2

    Ages pass, snow falls.

  • @laptest1027

wow, I didn't even know they were speaking english!

  • @AirshipCanon2 they're in this video's comments way back.

  • Sounds like the theme should play at a funeral when a family member dies... :'(

  • This song is amazing. I believe that all the Ace Combat series have some moral to their stories concerning the pointlessness of war and the politics that go along with it, that peace is what we all truly want and how beautiful peace is when we are not blinded by the horrors and illusions of war

  • Be Joyful our generals who brought us out of despair have given us a place to die

  • reminds me of medal honor, man that game has sum really powerful music, i actually cried during the mission Knights of Arnhem. its amazing that games can have such amazing music, the Ace combat series i think has some of the best music ever

  • So melancholy but I love this song.

I think that this song implies war's misery. Estobakians are not evil...

  • yeah i know what you mean bro,it was the "generals" that started that war

  • doesn't come close to comparing with Zero

  • Zero, megalith and the unsung ware were epic

  • Best part is 2:36

  • I just hope that Namco goes back to the musical style of 4, and maybe 5 when they make the next Ace Combat...

  • yea that last song in ace combat 5 is soo epicly amazing

  • I was so dissapointed this didn't make it to PS3. Not hating on Xbox here, but Namco abandoned so much of their origianl fanbase who played the first games of PS1 and 2 by robbing them of an oppurtunity to play another awesome game.

  • I didn't find the music in the end game to be suitable to the mission

Don't get me wrong, it's high quality stuff

It just didn't have the same drive as the end music of other games (AC4, AC5, AC0 all had excellent end tracks) It's more of a somber track.

  • I think it fit well, it's just that air to ground combat is really boring. Would have been fun if it had been all airborne.

  • The track wasn't made to be high energy and fast paced like with the end missions of AC 4,5,X and Zero.

The somberness of the track reflects what's going on, you're going against an Ace squadron along the insane number of Anti Air while trying to take out a Uber huge Super weapon that's in the process of leveling the city you worked so hard to get back. Don't tell me that doesn't paint a bleak picture.

  • Bleak, yes, but wouldn't the possibility of getting shot down every passing second coupled with destroying a giant gun in a spectacular explosion make it more intense as well?

  • True, but remember back in AC04 during the final tunnel run on Megalith, where the music took on a slower turn yet just as powerful turn in Heaven's Gate as opposed to the "High Energy" of the rendition of Agnus Dei.

I'm guessing they're using the same technique with Chandelier with To All Things. I find a certain intense calm when going full speed, dodging AA and missiles as I drop SFFSs on the targets and then turn out of my runs.

  • @ISAFSoldier It's more than that. Compare:

AC4: You've become a living legend, THE Ace pilot of the AC universe. - Epic music

AC5: You've just sunk a conspiracy that waited 15 years to rear it's ugly head, and re-enacted the legend of Razgriz in the process. - Very Epic music

AC0: You're facing off against your former wingman and buddy. "Now we see who's number one." - Showdown music

AC6: You're desperately trying to defend your capital against seemingly impossible odds. - Sombre music.

  • @pkshd I've compared all the tracks and I came up with my response. Each AC end mission music track reflected on what is happening during that mission and how it built up towards it. Each track gives you a sharp calmness as you fly through the obstacles in your way and arise as the hero in the end.

Mobius, War Dog which becomes Razgriz, Gryphus, Galm and Garuda, The squadrons which the heros of AC's 4, 5, X, 0 and 6 flew for each had their own track to describe each of their final missions.

  • @pkshd That definitely sums up all the characters you play as in AC definitely well put.

  • "Prepare Stauros for launch."

  • wow someone care to mention where this plays in the game...or better yet post a vid of where the song plays ingame?

  • The final mission of Ace Combat Six.

The name of the level was "Chandelier - To All Things"

No spoilers for you, though. ;)

  • shamrock: talisman's gone down

    emrian sqadran: somone when down

    goust eye: garuda 1 down

  • I love the Unsung War, Zero and Agnus Dei as much as the next guy, but I truly think THIS is Ace Combats Crowning theme.

  • I prefer Zero. Don't like Agnus Dei.

  • Well, I've sung the actual Agnus Dei...Well, at least the Mozart version from Requiem, so my opinion is a bit biased.

I'll agree with you though, it is a bit weaker than the other ones listed.

I think that the point that needs to be made however is that more games need awesome choral music!

  • Barbarian!

  • I didn't know this was a boys choir. They sound sort of like girls...oops.

  • samething i said... i was listening to A brand new day though....

  • Dang, when I kick the bucket, I am definitely going to have this played at my funeral, or when I see something sad.

  • oh i see what you mean the part 3:27 to 4:00 is the begginig song for the whole game. Their is just something about war and church music that goes together. it just clicks some how.

  • But Shamrock's daughter is named Jessica... And isn't Melisa's husband

is a prisoner that told us he had broken his wing in the fight at the beginning?

And Shamrock's wife and his daughter are both dead... poor shamrock.....

  • Can you believe he was thinking about committing suicide when he got shot down?

  • Umm...And I like the part 2:37 to 3:29.That's great !

Actually the whole song is nice. Thanks for sharing =]

  • I noticed Ghosteye doesn't seem to give a shit when you die, it's just a calm "Garuda 1, do you read me?" But Shamrock goes down, and he fucking falls to pieces. "SHAMROCK, RESPOND! MARCUS! MARCUS!" Yes, he calls him by his first name. Why.

  • 'Cause he's a fat bastard.

  • It's like that in all the games. Remember AC5? Kei going on continuously about not losing another flight lead, then game over and "Blaze crashed. (shit.)"

  • In ACZ, if you get shot down, Pixy is shocked and shouts "Cipher, respond!"

In AC5, Thunderhead panics with "Blaze crashed!"

In AC04, if you crash, SkyEye will respond in a calm, yet anxious way, with "Mobius 1 crashed!"

  • Also, in ACX, Crux goes "Gryphys 1! Come in sir! Oh no, he's been shot down!"

  • @pilot7893 Crap, didn't notice that till now!

  • @pilot7893 I noticed that as well when my husband played the game.

  • @pilot7893 Same with Chopper in AC5, Thunderhead will say nothing big, but will flip out as Chopper goes down.

  • @ChrisMarsh5 man i swear i broke up in tears when chopper died, when he was going down i just flew beside him till the definite end, after that i just got so pissed off that I started shooting enemy planes like flies

  • @jbogani1 I did to bro I was so pissed and took my revenge on those motherfuckers and shot them out of the sky like flies.

  • @pilot7893 but shamrock lives

  • this must be somewhat a song of their parents putting a hope in their childs future....

dawn fills our hearts with pure light

all our hopes rise with the brilliant.

the sun rises with faith in tommorow

    We March On!

  • This made me feel like i was going to lose when this music started, it felt like i was against impossible odds.

  • And then you learned that Megalith with a laser cannon strapped on can only fire in one direction?

  • ace combat soundtracks here

  • Grabbin Ace Combat Soundtracks

  • this is the slow version to liberation of Gracemaria!!

  • i dont think it is. maybe i am wrong

  • No it's not. ._.

  • Nevermind! The second half of the song (To All Things) is a slow boy-choir version of Liberation of Gracemeria.

  • whats the name of the song?

  • (sigh) you were asking for the songs name?

  • yeah i still do

  • The f22 has not proven its self in air to air combat yet. for all we know it could be the biggest pice of crap ever. it is all based on simulators from what ive heard. but i still like the plane a lot

  • No but the Belkan accent and laguage is German, Emeria is probably Ireland, contrary to what I said earlier, Yuktobania is probably Russia, actually, Estovakia Britain, because of their accent, Osea is definitely America, even their flag says so. Anea might be Scotland, Sapin is Spain, if you re-arrange the letters, Ustio might be Mexico or Portugal.

  • Problem with that is that we Irish are neutral and nowhere near a powerful military

  • Ehm, Anea is a continent, the one where Emmeria and Estovakia are located, not a country. As for their real-life counterparts, Emmeria could be the UK because the US is already taken and also the fact that it used to be a monarchy. While Estovakia is clearly an Eastern European country judging by some of the names and the accents.

  • can't be... Ustio suceeded from belka...

  • this song is very.... creepy... deathlike....

The Ace Combat series will never end till either: A) the nations collapse on themselves like the Romans and put an effect end to their civilzation as known or B) they will end in WW3 in which they will try to kill each other to civilizations end... (we might play in the Nuking and firing) then they might put us to play post apocalyptic in which they will try to depict peace, unity, and hope in a post- apocalyptic world. anyone agrees?

  • I agree with Malfaxi. I also think all the aces killed in the series will come back from the dead in some haunting level and you'll have to shoot them all down. (Espada One, Yellow Squadron, PJ as a baddy, Chopper as a bad guy, Grabacr and Ofnir, anyone who died in Indigo, Rot, Grun, Schnee, Silber, Schwarze, etc. etc.)

  • that would be awesome! all of them at 1nse! =O

  • The nations of Ace Combat would already end around the 2020s-2030s. Taken over by the corporations known as General Resource Ltd. and Neucom Inc. of Ace Combat 3 fame.

  • well then... it might be after the events of AC3....

  • On the other hand, if you turn Anea sideways to its left (counter-clockwise), it looks eerily like the British Isles.

Emmeria would then be England and Estovakia Scotland.... which doesn't make too much sense. But perhaps we're all reading too much into it anyway.

(PS: And Gracemeria would be roughly where Edinburgh is.)

  • No way, Shamrock sounds Irish or something. Melissa does looke and sound American, but Shamrock is defnitely NOT. I think Emeria is Canada and Estovakia is Britain, cause Erusea is Russia, and Belka is Germany, Osea is America, and Yuktobania is who knows what.

  • Estovakia seems to be based off of russia or another eastern european country. Thats clearly evident with Voichek, his facial structure looks eastern european and his accent is eastern euro as well.

I would say Emmeria is based from america. Its because Melissa looks and sounds american. Shamrock and Ghosteye sound very american. Gracemaria seems to be a combo of New York and San Francisko, but the capitol looks like the british parliament.

  • I know they invaded and started the war, but I felt bad for the Estovakians at the end. They made it seem like Emmeria as out for blood, but I gues it's justified because of what they did at the beginning.

    Nice song by the way.

  • Here are the translated lyrics for the song..

Ages pass, Snow falls. All the earth sleeps beneath a blanket of white. Darkness clouds the sky Snow falls without end. Recalling our past, we march on

Times of Turmoil shall pass. Dawn fills our hearts with light. Our hopes rise with the brilliant. Sun rises with faith in tomorrow, we march on.

  • how did u find those lyrics?

  • StrigonM56, Shamrock doesnt die, he lives and is the man in the wheelchair that goes and sees the family in the ending scene.

MTAP: Dont just cut off the scene clips in games, 1)it ruins the whole game and 2)you have no clue whats going on, you'll think someone dies, but truthfully, they live. You just dont know it because you skipped the clips.

  • in my opinion, estovokia is like germany, i recgonize the accent. Emmeria I think is American.

  • Actually, the Estovakian accent is British.
