These cases are all to common today. This is why the mother should not work and stay home with her children. I had nine children, and together, me and my wife raised them without incident. Will never trust someone watching my kids.
@cotaman7 Oh right so its the mothers fault, Why do pompus pricks like you always divert the blame to someone else. You cant always put your kids in a cacoon and protect them as much as we'd love to. You got lucky and you should show a bit more humility to those that werent so lucky. Be careful what you say, it may come and bite you in the ass one day. May not be a babysitter that hurts your kids, it could be ANYONE. A family member, a trusted friend,YOU KNOW WHAT IM SAYING??
@TeMauriOra I'm a prick because I believe women should stay home and take care if there kids? Then I would hate to be your child. No, you can't place a cocoon around your children, illness and disease are things that you cannot control, but there is a thing called responsibility. No, I did not get lucky, it's just that I am smarter then you and the rest of the world. People are more concerned about making it rich or having more than there neighbors.
It's sad to see or hear kids dying by the hands of those who are supposed to protect them. But if she saw these videos of child abuse by nannies and daycares, she will probably say no, not now or ever. Somebody should put up large signs around the daycare's home saying, "Child abuser" and spread the word of what she has done. So it will never happen again. Duy-an you have brought happyness to those you have come in contact with, as well as all other children in the world. RIP
it's so unfortunate that we need to live among monsters like this one, I hope she lives a painful, long life, filled with misery and let's also hope nothing like this ever happens again. if there is god, than where was he when this happened?where was he when all the other innocent children in this fucked up world had to die by torture?wake up!

meaning the moment i arrive at the day care or the whever the provider would pretty much be near death by the time the emt arrived. I know for a fact this would happen because when I got to my daughters child care center and she has fell off the swing or whatever the case...i want an explanation than and if the mark is bad im not too pleasant. So I can only imagaine. GOD please never put me in that situation id ruin my life and spend the rest of it in jail!
I feel bad for her parents and esp for her for having to suffer. Now what I don't understand is if the baby had only just started going there what was so frustrating about her that she was driven to that extreme..The child wasn't even a regular and in that case the most she should have gotten was time out or a tap on the hand. I pray I never end up in that situation my 4 1/2 year olds father is crazy in addition to our family. Never been in the situation however i can say this id fucking SNAP
No words we can all say to calm the pain u are feeling, a little life cut short, but u will meet again, be strong for her cause now she's an angel watching over u! :'(
My advice. Don't have children if you can't look after them yourself. I just hate it when people put there careers before there children and just hand over the task of rearing there child to someone else while they work. Someone evil who shouldn't be near children. Might sound harsh I know. I guess I'm just old fashioned. The only way to be sure our children are safe is to take care of them ourselves.
@twilightingX OH, I almost forgot no child ever died at the hands of their parent or foster/adoptive parent or guardian. It's ALWAYS a stranger...oh then what about Baby Brianna, or Jason Midyette...?
This is truly a tragic tale, and my heart goes out to her family. You can look into her eyes and see how bright this little girl's outlook on her life was. Her eyes seem to twinkle with the wonder of life itself. I don't understand why people with such high stress levels decide to embark into this type of work. We can thank God that he has now got Duy-An wrapped in his embrace. She will be safe there for always.
I Don't trust daycare but not all daycares are that way that why you pick one with less kids allowed and make sure u are allowed to visit whenever u want and call whenever u want
Unfortunately some parents have to work both full-time, just to pay the rent and feed the family. There is no choice is such cases. These people can't send their kids to the best day-care centers; to expensive.
Those kids end up in situations with overcrowded groups, under-educated carers and a lot of stress. Accidents like this are bound to happen more and more. In an ideal world one parent should have the possibility to stay at home with very young children. These stories are so tragic.
@62netty It wasn't an accident. This person chose to VIOLENTLY SHAKE a child about 1/4 her size because no one who could do anything about it was watching. Maybe someone 3/4 bigger and stronger than you could do the same to you when no one looks.
My son will never attend daycare! hes 10 months old, my husband is in the military, I rather have less money then trusting someone with the most important person in my life. After he is old enough to tell me what wrong he can attend kindergarden. seems little extrem maybe, but Im better safe than sorry. I dont trust strangers .
@milami2011ty I understand, completely. When my youngest was six, I just couldn't handle leaving my three children with sitters anymore. I quit my job, and stayed home with them, for five years. My husband's family looked down on me because I wasn't working, but I just couldn't do the babysitting thing anymore. Now, I wish I had quit work long before then.
@milami2011ty Me too. I have a 3 year onld and a 1 year old (boys). I work the graveyard shift while they are sleeping with my mother. When they can talk, I might let them go to daycare. I don't even trust them with there own father. Not saying that he will hurt them. Men are just not as patient with children as women. Also, I have seen too may people leave their child with someone and come back and the baby has been shaken or beat to death. Noone knows the stress of a real mother.
@milami2011ty i agree, and think just the same like you, ofcourse there are people who want or need to bring their childeren to daycare, but im doing it also alone and have not much money, but then i buy less for myself and more for my babygirl, i know, that no one will look after my child than myself.....now she's old enough to explain and tell me what's happening etc....i wish all the parents who have to miss their child, much strength in these sad days....
@milami2011ty Your attitude is not extreme at all. Mothers should stay home to care for and protect their children whenever possible. Some people aren't blessed with that option. Some people don't realize how much more their children need them than they need things.
Oh dear......this is so heart breaking. I am truly sorry for the loss of your sweet, precious little daughter Duy-An, she was simply 'beautiful'. I don't think I will ever get the photo of Duy-An holding her rosary beads out of my mind, I find it that touching. My prayers & thoughts are with you & your family. God Bless ~
