Underoath 2010 - Studio Update #3

This update was way better than the other 2. However, I thought it was pretty funny that Chris is the one talking about how they are pushing "beyond" musically, when he is the guy that pushed like 1 note at a time on the keyboard and headbangs the rest of the song.......oh yeah, and BTW, Daniel Davidson is miles beyond Aaron as a drummer. So they will be absolutely fine in that regard.

So stoked for this album! Idk why everyone freaks out that they don't have audio from what they are recording. They obviously are doing something very very different and don't want the whole world to know what it is yet! Aaron and Tim had/have the most effect on the style... so with Aaron gone and the background of Daniel... I think this has the potential to be one of the most epic records that they've ever released.

It would be nice to hear something different from these guys. I'm not saying that I don't like their old stuff, I would just like to hear some nice breakdowns or something a bit harder.

what makes them different in the first place is that their music isn't riddled with cliche breakdowns just to please every kid in cargo shorts and a basketball jersey.

I think they are living the record up a little too much with these videos. I think its gonna be awesome, but i don't think it is going to be epic necessarliy the way that August Burns Red CD: Messengers or BTBAMs: Colors. I just don't think they have it in them personally to do that kinda thing. I love their old stuph by the way, i'm no hater, they got me into this music scene yo! Love em to death!

@coyotl18 U know that's actually a good point, I don't know, may Tim will do the back up vocals live cause he did a few for define, or maybe Daniel will do back up just for live for the old songs

@drummerliger678 i think if they really want to go for they're old songs they should get a 2nd lead singer, kind of like the way that the number 12 looks like you was set up. I'm imagining this record will be a lot heavier than the others, cause spencer has good screams but his clean vocals need to be worked on more. Idk, I'm still a fan of both bands uo and the almost. I just know that uo will not be the same

@coyotl18 ya i keep hearing it will be heavier and i do agree that spencer has good vocals, but i also heard a little rumor that tim might actually be doing a lot of aaron's vocals, and yes i do like both bands also and will continue to listen to both of them while uo is till my fav band and aaron is still my idol

@drummerliger678 Tim can't do half of the notes though that aaron can do, though he is a solid vocalist, he is more of a backup vocalist than a straight forward vocalist.
