good shit, i got the 3200dvd pioneer deck, i was looking through them all and liked the style better tahn yours. But holy shit you went to vol. like 40 lol! on mine once i hit 20 my door speakers makes it like a concert. Only have 2 12" pioneer champs right now but they doin the job in my v6 accord sedan, next ug is 1 15" btl

hey, just wondering how big is that box? lol i have a ford focus 4 door and im thinkin bout taking the back seat out and putting 2 18s in there lol it'd be a wall, tuned at 31-32Hz the biggest it can be is 16 cubes after port displacement, not including the sub displacement though (havent decided on what subs lol, but yeah, would like 8 cubes per sub be decent?

@MrFatman212 it's 10 cubes net. I wanted it on the small side to help handle more power. My understanding is: smaller box- less efficient and aids cone control= good if you want to put a shit ton of power to a driver, bigger box- generally more efficient and slightly improved low freq. extension= good for getting the most out of your system if you plan to stay around the drivers rms. I'd suggest getting a couple more opinions on the subject cuz I'm no pro lol I could be wrong.

@slimstunna123 yeah from what i see thats how it seems to work, with more air pressure inside the box it limits the subs movement lol, but do you think 1 18 in a box of 8(ish) cubes would work? to be as loud as it can on 1-2kw rms? lol and great vids btw, keep em commin lol

@deee661 It stays surprisingly cool. even in the middle of summer, after playing at 3/4 volume + for over an hour it gets warm but I wouldn't say hot (my definition of hot being, uncomfortable to keep your hand on it for more than a couple seconds)

Hey man Im building a box for a FI BTL 18 single and I was wondering if you use screws to keep together? If not what would you suggest me to use? I obviously dont have fiber glass soo...

@MakeLuvNotKids I rarely use screws on my boxes. I glue and clamp my boxes, you can get cheap bar clamps at harbor freight and for glue I recommend titebond 2. A good glue joint is stronger than the wood itself. Just make sure the pieces of your box fit together tightly, use a generous amount of glue, and clamp it tight!
