My mum isn't close to me at all :'( u cant speak to her or anything, i feel like im not part of a family, and then when mum and dad split up, mum re-married and i get bullied by my stepdad, he's been bullying me since i was younger than 8, he hurts me, not dangerously but enough to make me terrified of my home. I just turned 14 exactly a week ago and i cry everytime i look in the mirror... he got me thinking im the worst person in the world... i now hate myself more than anything in this wolrd.
@cosmic1cheese you shouldn't have to take any of that by your step dad i think you should talk to someone about it all, and most of all you shouldn't hate your self what you think of you self is what counts you shouldn't let other people bring you down like that what other people think about you dosn't matter you should keep posatiive about your self no matter what i really do feel sorry for you i hope you do get things sorted in the future i'll keep my fingers crossed for you good luck

@dweb08 :( we dont have school conselor, well there are guidence teacher but my guidence teacher makes you feel like you cant say anything or she'll bite yer head off. I do speak to my friend, she helps :( i just get so fed uo :'( i feel i aint worth nothing :') but thank you

i lost my mom & brother on 1/6/11, my 16th birthday, they slid on black ice on the road, they hit a tree and rolled over multiple times, about 3 years ago i lost my dad to lung cancer, so im an orphan, im stuck in a shitty foster home, my moms family blames me for their deaths, i would DO anything to hear their voices again, rest in peace mommy, daddy, i just wish i could c my little brother grow up, rest in peace bro :') <3

I had to go almost a year with hardly getting to see my mom. I was so depressed and mom dad had no idea why, i would just randomly start crying, even during class i would end up just breaking down.. This song was always stuck in my head. I finely moved back with my mom because i could not dill with the pain. I barely speak to my dad now, or get to see him but that's another story i don't wish to share.

@Marie2000ful hun. some times thats the hardest thing to do. like do you have a drunk abusive mother? lots of kids do. thats one of the hardest things to live with: a mother who acts like she doesn't care about anything other then alcohol. I'm 15 and my momma was a drunk i mean i still love hear but i will admit: she was the worst at being a mother her first kid turned out great her seceond molested her youngest and her youngest still finds it hard to go cause she died when she was 12

My mom almost dies from cancer and through Christian Science practice (Am not a Christian Science and am not advocating it) she survived and has been cancer free for ten years. Although I love my mom deeply i do resent her for a lot of her clingyness, neediness and overdependence on me but still i dont want to imagine losing her. No relationship is perfect and in the end it's up to us to manage those relationships and "fix" them the best way we can.

Mine has a mental disorder and doesn't understand how she hurts me as a result...I've said goodbye even though she's 8 feet away in the next room years ago (I'm 25). I found a snow globe with puppies taking a bath she bought me and that is one of the very rare pure memories I have of us-without hurting me...I played the song "Puppy Love" on the snow globe and it just tore me in two earlier today. I will, in some way, feel a little bit incomplete, because I never got to be a kid and have a mom.

i lost my mom & brother on 1/6/11, my 16th birthday, they slid on black ice on the road, they hit a tree and rolled over multiple times, about 3 years ago i lost my dad to lung cancer, so im an orphan, im stuck in a shitty foster home, my moms family blames me for their deaths, i would DO anything to hear their voices again, rest in peace mommy, daddy, i just wish i could c my little brother grow up, rest in peace bro :') <3

I had to go almost a year with hardly getting to see my mom. I was so depressed and mom dad had no idea why, i would just randomly start crying, even during class i would end up just breaking down.. This song was always stuck in my head. I finely moved back with my mom because i could not dill with the pain. I barely speak to my dad now, or get to see him but that's another story i don't wish to share.

When I first heard this song i honestly don't understand the words and yet it remains in my mind. One night as I was watching cable tv I click the karaoke channel got my attention 'cuz for one it was free so I thought I'll give it a try. Thanks for sharing, everyone. We dedicated this song for my mom's funeral. She passed away on Dec 25,2010. Some days, I will forget and think foolishly that I really should call and share some little news or just talk to her. I love and miss my mom so much! I miss her voice, the sound of laughter, and the way she would just make everything okay. @divasal I have 5 siblings...and I know we all lost our mom and grieving. Sometimes, I just feel so alone...like these tears won't every dry and this knot in my throat won't every go away. The pain in my heart is so deep that I have to literally tell myself that I need to breath and be strong. I have a husband and family to take care of. I miss my mom so much...I find myself in that "zoning" mode, which I know isn't healthy for me. May our mom's love give us strength. Take care.

i love this song! i havent lost my mom but i've lost my dad. i lost him on may 17,2010 and to this day i havent moved on from that because i was the one that found his life less body and i was only 11 i'm 12 now but i cant move on ever. i didnt want to loose him cause i was closer to him then my mom. me and him had so much fun together and i still miss him to this day.

@Marie2000ful hun. some times thats the hardest thing to do. like do you have a drunk abusive mother? lots of kids do. thats one of the hardest things to live with: a mother who acts like she doesn't care about anything other then alcohol. I'm 15 and my momma was a drunk i mean i still love hear but i will admit: she was the worst at being a mother her first kid turned out great her seceond molested her youngest and her youngest still finds it hard to go cause she died when she was 12

My mom almost dies from cancer and through Christian Science practice (Am not a Christian Science and am not advocating it) she survived and has been cancer free for ten years. Although I love my mom deeply i do resent her for a lot of her clingyness, neediness and overdependence on me but still i dont want to imagine losing her. No relationship is perfect and in the end it's up to us to manage those relationships and "fix" them the best way we can.

This song and "Dance with my Father" are the ultimate parental songs for me. When I hear these songs, I can't help but call them, even when I just had a conversation with them. I don't understand it, but ever since I was a kid, I was always afraid of knowing that they'd be gone someday. Call it paranoid or something, but even though I may have a feeling of "hatred" for them in some occasions, I still couldn't imagine a world without them. I love you Mom and Dad. (^~^)

Because it gives you the feeling of the power of a mothers love. And how much a child loves a mother. I took care of my mother for 2 weeks while she was on her death bed. Love you Mom!

Mine has a mental disorder and doesn't understand how she hurts me as a result...I've said goodbye even though she's 8 feet away in the next room years ago (I'm 25). I found a snow globe with puppies taking a bath she bought me and that is one of the very rare pure memories I have of us-without hurting me...I played the song "Puppy Love" on the snow globe and it just tore me in two earlier today. I will, in some way, feel a little bit incomplete, because I never got to be a kid and have a mom.

i remember listenting to this song few years back when my Mom got diagnosed with cancer... I couldnt picture ever saying goodbye to her... unfortunatly I had to say goodbye last year... It was the hardest and most painful thing i ever had to do... but i know she's at peace... I love her and miss her every single moment of the day... those who are still lucky to have your moms by you, do not take any second for granted... Luv U Mommy always <3

How hard was it for her ....to say goodbye to me...I miss her......I miss her warm arms around me when I need them....doesn't matter the age, a child feels save in her mom's arms....
