  • is the ninth circle part of the sabbat?

  • @jin54363 Not that I know of. Apparently it's just a small, Independent faction or cult created for the purposes of this game. I never found anything canonical about the Ninth Circle.

  • @BloodyBay

when i came to fight the bishop vict, or vick, he said that he was turned into some monster, i think he might be some cult leader.

  • @jin54363 That was just him being bitter and resentful about being Embraced. It's no clue as to what his Sire was. Besides, how many Childer find their ways to different factions than their Sires belonged to? Vick's Sire could have been Camarilla for all we know.

  • I solved it my own way: standing on the bedside up against the wall -there she cant reach you, and you can shoot her nice and quietly without loosing any life at all ;-)

  • she keeps killing me... i dont have the patience for that girl :S

  • @WunderRiot

Like I said in another comment log regarding Andre, use the SPAS 15 for fights like this. That weapon will pwn this bitch in a matter of seconds.

  • how did u get the keycard for her room?

  • Talk to the concierge downstairs; if your Seduction or Persuasion is high enough, he should give it to you. If not, sneak around the hall and into the room behind him, then use the keycard stamping machine; it'll spit out a keycard to her room. Pick it up and away you go. :-)

  • @BloodyBay thanks

  • You're welcome. :-)

  • @ak47andgunnin or you could just walk into the room behind the counter and get the card out of the card thing...lol

  • @kayyyemmmesss ehkk the game keeps fuckin up at the part after u kill that vampire hunter leader guy in that one cave..so im just gona buy the game

  • @ak47andgunnin whaaaaat? you didnt have to buy it? i thought thats the only way you could get it O.O

  • sweet extasy...little morsal!!!!!1

  • Loved this game, favorite was playing as a Malk though. The conversations were just hilarious.

  • this is a good game but loading times make this less enjoyable game.. wish they would have done something for that and it certainly is not because of my comp specs because they go way over the requirements

  • They forgot to vamp that chick up.

  • I'd still take her home...well, if she wasn't carrying a deadly pestilence, that is....

  • i realy liked the game but i cant continue after leopold society level.game just quits itslef when loading

  • Have you downloaded and installed all of the patches?

  • i dont saw any patches on the istallation files but still game comes to there without problem

  • The Society of Leopold maps used to have a few problems, but those all got patched out. Just get on Google and search for "Vampire Bloodlines patch". There will be both official patches (released by Troika shortly before they went under) and unofficial patches (coded by the fanbase). Download the latest of each, then install the official patch, and finally install the unofficial patch.

  • I love presence but it lags like a Ass if i use it...anyone else have lag with presence?

  • I slaughtered her with my Tremere.

  • This one is crazy, and comming from a Malkavian, that's pretty bad xD

  • It's probably from the disease. Some of those pandemic plagues really eat away at the brain tissue, you know? B-)

  • Ah, yes, yes. I agree.

  • sorry :D. I meant that she run over to the dor and just standing ther.

  • Wanne know another god trick that i discover ? :P. you run into her rom close to her green couch befor she talks. And when the talk is over you jump onto the green couch. And then you can shut her like you want to becaus just run over to the dor and standing ther. hav fun.

  • Changed my perfect vampire version(ended game with gangrel)Celerity,Obsufate and Animalism the first boses diie one hit hit with Spectral Wolf

  • Hannah is in 6th floor of Skyline Apartment buildings, first you have to go to 5th floor, you will need to find Paul first, good luck

  • hmm i did tin can bill but i cant find hannah? where is she? and i reported back after i killed brother kanker but he just say " continue your work and come back later" or something plz help :(

  • my vision of perfect vampire in auspex, obfusticate, fortitude, but taht would make a boring gameplay xD

  • lol with obsucate Jezembel moves like you never gone there

  • See? People talk on and on about the glories of Celerity, Thaumaturgy and Dementation, and they completely overlook Obfuscate, probably because Obfuscate could be seen as a subtle, sneaky or cowardly Discipline. But master Obfuscate and you master the one-hit stealth kill. Bosses are immune to stealth kills, sure, but they still take a whomping from Obfuscated blows. And if you can just break line of sight for a second or three, you can sneak back in and whomp the Boss over and over....

  • Of course, that was the problem I had with Bishop Vick. It's impossible to re-Obfuscate with all those vigilant little zombies all over the place. :-p

  • Obfuscate doesn't work on many of the mid-to-late enemies (or maybe I just suck)

  • Well the perfect vampire should have Celerity thaumaturgi and obsufate

  • With Toreader, the celerity discipline, if maxed early (like every single expeirence point goes into it), the game becomes absolutely easy.

The only hard boss in the whole game is the Gargoyle and even then it isn't so much hard as it is "Bring buckets of ammo because he absorbs rounds like Cloverfield"

  • I agree XD The celerity discipline is a must have, that's the only reason why I miss being a Torrie. But Malkavians are my favourite clan, I can't help it.

You know what I find difficult? Beating up the sheriff. But maybe it's just me.

  • If you go melee, most of the final boss fights are difficult.

With a flamethrower and a steyr aug? He goes down super-quick

  • Yeah, my problem is that I go melee for the whole game. I'll try to stick to firearms this one time ;)

  • If you're malkavian, just have a sword, but don't put any points into it. Max obfuscate really quickly, and then do that back-kill animation thing. With max-level obfuscate you don't de-cloack for stealth-kills so you can take out an entire room one-by-one.

Max firearms for boss-fights and you'll fly by.

  • ...or you can just grab Strauss' anti-gargoyle amulet and a sledgehammer. The Gargoyle's slow and vampires resist blunt attacks even without the amulet, so it's not all that hard to run circles around him and club him to bits. >;-)

  • I'm going to pretend I didn't just hear you say a Toreador should sully his hands actually touching such an instrument!

  • Why not? Mine did. She took that sledgehammer and made gargoyle-flavored gravel! The Tremere are welcome to be soft-skinned pointy-hats all they want, but it's the ones who roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty that get things done.

See Strauss? I bet he grew up mining for silver in Germany. He has that chiseled look to him, that's for sure. ;-)

  • I love tremeres, and with them, i found pretty easy smashing to tiny bits the gargoyle. Right, he doesnt' have blood, and the dominate won't work, BUT the bloodshield still is pretty useful, and since my tremere was not strong but good at weapons, i hammered the bastard to death XD

  • I play Ventrue...

I have two dots on dominate, two on fortitiude and two on presece and I cannot kill that bitch...

  • How is your Firearms pool?

  • One...

  • Ew. Well, I guess you could still try running around the furniture and shooting her. Just be sure to bring plenty of ammo in case you miss a lot. Plus, she's a vampire, so she'll take a lot of shots to kill anyway....

  • I find diffrent way...

    I play malkavian:D

  • xD

I was playing Toreador against Jezebel...and I got beat up quite nicely. I took a lot of aggravated damage...she even followed me out of the room. I only survived by escaping to the elevator, snacking on a couple of wandering humans down on the first floor, then returning to get a couple of shots in on Locke. Lol.

  • I guess if your Toreador's the social type, you'd make up for your lack of combat prowess in parts like the Giovanni mansion, where high social skills really pay off. It's just too bad that the majority of the game is combat. It kind of limits your character growth options if physical survival's the name of the game.

  • That's true. It's even worse playing as Ventrue, because you won't be able to replenish your blood supply on lowlife human fodder. =/

Really though, one of the main points is supposed to be the ability to maneuver through use of persuasive dialogue or action. I find that the game is really inconsistent on that specific plane, but I'm willing to forgive. ;P

I've still managed to smooth-talk my way out of many situations, despite it all. =D

  • Yeah me too when i played Tremere.

  • Well, if Jezebel is used to hanging around brother Kanker (possibly the ugliest Nosferatu in the game, and weirdest) I guess one more isn't going to put her off. That's my rationale for the dialogue being the same anyway.

  • Man, I really need to do that Nosferatu video. I love all the Nossie-specific dialogue from the other characters, one of which is when that girl in the crackhouse mistakes your Nosferatu for Brother Kanker.

Yes, even if you're playing the FEMALE Nosferatu. That's an insult in itself. :-p

  • I'm SO grateful you used a Nosferatu!

  • They really are an underappreciated Clan; it seems most players prefer the luxury of walking wherever you please. But Nossies really aren't that limited; the game says that you need the sewers to get around town undetected, but you'll do just fine simply by moving to the far side of the street to avoid people. Everyone in L.A. has myopia, it seems.

  • Maybe Nossies scare players who want to be able to chat with everyone, including the Giovanni at the manor. But I find the repulsed reactions that Nossies get from people to be even more entertaining than Malks being Malks. Doris at the diner is a real treat.

Once I beat the game with Ursula, I should have enough clips to follow FrozenFoxy's lead and make a Nosferatu video. It's on my To Do list, for sure. ;-)

  • I would love to see that

    not enough Nosferatu videos here

  • Well, for now I just uploaded both battles with Andrei, just to satisfy your ugly-vamp-versus-ugly-vamp needs. ;-)

  • lol

there aren't many Andrei videos either

  • See? Ugly vampires just don't get enough love on YouTube. I have a LOT of work to do here. :-(

  • yes

people give too much about the outside

  • I remember this fight xD

My first thouht when entering was that I owned her in so many ways.

She uses Presence and I used Fortitude.

She had a knife. I've got a Fire Axe.

Jezebel was a charmin' Toreador, while I played as a Ventrue. She didn't stand a chance :P

Keep posting your videos! It's always nice remembering the good parts of Bloodlines ^_^

  • I've found that Potence is a nice counter to Presence. "Oh, you're lowering my Strength and melee damage? Watch me pump it back up again!"

As my Malkavian found, firearms are another way to deal with Jezebel and her Presence. Sure, vampires resist gunshots and you have to shoot them a lot, but they don't rely on Strength for their damage. Just run around, place furniture between Jezebel and yourself and pump her full of lead. >:-)

  • I'm also very fond of Malks. I love their 'insights'. For example, the mention of Janus the two-faced god when you meet Jeanette the first time, had me wondering if she and Therese could be the same. It turned out that Malks are always right xD

Sadly I haven't gotten this far with my malk yet. I'll keep bullets in mind ^_^

  • Those Malkavian insights can get you in trouble now and then, though. Whatever you do, do NOT address V.V. by her real name. She has her reasons for not revealing it to anyone and she hates having people peek inside her head.

Feel free to ask her why her clothes fall off whenever she's dancing, though. :-)

  • If it was possibal... i would have sex with this game xD

  • Well, just keep the sex away from Jezebel Locke. She's diseased. :-D

  • Love this game!!!!!!The best I've played

  • Woot! I haven't even had this video up 24 hours and I already got a 5-star rating? Thank you, whoever did that! :-)
