It's actually not as impossible as it looks. The technique is quite challenging, but with a lot of practice you could master it. IMO you shouldn't worry too much about getting the notes perfectly, especially at the tempo being played (especially those very tricky arppegios. From my point of view, this was a great song to get a challenge from (better than Bach suite 6 prelude I can tell you that).

I've been playing the cello for almost 10 years now. A couple years ago, I tried tackling Bach's Suite 6 prelude, which is regarded as one of the hardest songs to play on a cello. Regardless, I was determined to play it, and after 3 months, I got it. I learned to play the notes, but was no where even close to mastering it... If you want to play the song, all you have to do is try. Once you learn the notes, you have freedom to do whatever you want with it.
