Well i think we all can agree in that the only drawback of this great anime was the premature ending. If FMA had a new adaptation, why Trigun cant.

@H4rdstyl30wns Perhaps I would appreciate more if it were under a different name than "FMA", but so long as it bares that name, i cannot help but compare it to the first "FMA" which, in my opinion, is extremely similar and completely different all at once.. it almost ruins the first "FMA" for me just thinking about it.. I would rather it were just burned and forgotten. Was the first "FMA" not enough? As short as it may be, Trigun was certainly enough for me. I hardly watch tv since it is not on.

Not THE GREATEST THING EVER like the show was.. I definitely think they "played it safe" making the movie.. personally I think Vash's life-story had enough lose ends where they could have made a better movie out of setting it BEFORE the events of the show instead of trying to sqeeze it in.. The whole plot just didnt seem movie-worthy.. =/

..also left viewers with more questions than answers.

@younglegend4life it's the manga that's ongoing, trigun and final fantasy 7 are so amazing, people have to understand that good stories have to come in small packages, not like naruto, which has 60 billion double episodes !

@DrCowenstein I disagree. As ambiguous as it ended, it tied up perfectly and left a quiet yet sound atmosphere to it. It'd be cool if they make a new series based on the more shonen-style manga version, but I'm pretty content with the much more seinen approach they took for the original anime (let's not forget that Trigun wouldn't have been as popular had it not been for the original anime airing outside of Japan).

good animes only have one season, if trigun would have more seasons it´ll end like naruto, with hundreds of episodes (which doesn´t mean it is a bad anime!)

One Piece is still good though,but I think it needs to end sooner or later because extremely long shows are kind of a turn-off for me. the manga started when I was very little.

but at least its not like the Simpsons (a show that absolutely refuses to die even though it knows its not good anymore) lately Aqua Teen Hunger Force has begun to fall into this category.

@keveny007 because the main enemy is dead and the manga ended in 2008 only because it took so long.

the manga's ending is even more like, "c'mon! vash needs more adventures!" because the final page shows him running into the sunset being chased by the outlaws and the earthlings who came to help vash in the last fight.

but I have to agree with you the ending of the anime wasdisappointing because it had absolutely no closure at all. sure Knives is defeated but whats gonna happen when he wakes up? when I was watching it I was at least hoping for an epilogue to find out what happens to the characters after the series is over.but nope nothing.

plus if I were Vash I'd try to get Knives as far away from the village as possible

@KitLDA I know what you mean! It's funny, I have a scale for the characters he has played. It starts at the most chill which is Kiba and then goes to Lelouch then Ichigo and ends with the most spaz of characters, Vash. I think he does a very good job by giving them their own sound and personality.
