  • What samples pack do you use it sounds realistic? I'd really like to have it. Could you do or recommend a turtorial for mastering. How to geat clean, live sounding beats, I did search a lot but all the good ones are for electronic music having trouble with that.

  • @l4cmusic1 Audacity

  • lol thumbs up if u have that same keyboard

  • How do you change the tempo of the original sample?

  • @MrLino20 Pitching or time stretching

  • yo whats this website in the video where you can find out the bpm?

  • @11ZETA11 Can't remember :) Try to google: bpm counter.

  • hey man..after your done sampling and all, what file do you save it under (mp3, wav etc) and most importantly, how can i import it into reasons 4?? THANKS

  • @OzmosisTV Wave-format (wave). Add an NN-XT to your rack. Right click on your NN-XT and choose initialize. After that open NN-XT Remote editor. You can find it at the bottom of the NN-XT. After that you pres the browse sample button.

  • how do you tune samples so you can add other instruments ?

  • @dariusmines It depends on the program you're using. Normally you have to adjust the pitch and fine tuning in your sampler. That's what I do in Logic Pro and Reason 4.0.

  • cool vid i've got a similar vid on my channel but using akai samplers check it out

  • Raw beat, and where do you find you'r samples?

  • @wcthaprodigy Old records.

  • Is your internet browser Firefox? It looks exactly like mine's Foxdie theme. :-)

  • The beat is real smooth. But the tempo could be slower.Keep up the good work

  • Hey man whats up, hey i don't clearly understand how u found the original bpm then pitched it up and made it 92 bpm, i keep trying to do that and it never works for me, i use logic studio so maybe im doing something wrong im not sure though. hit me back when u can mane thanks

  • I like ur keyboard. what model is it?

  • sick

  • impossible

  • dope what sample you used?

  • wat'a a bassline???

  • Hey LilWill, loving the beat bro, definitely a great tutorial, but I also have a noob question to ask of you...I also have an MPD24 & Reason 4.0, but am confused on how to assign each pad with a different sample..Can you school me on it?..I appreciate it, Thanks!

  • Is there anyway I can map the slices to a midi keyboard?

  • yeah if ur using reason just load them up tin the nn xt sampler

  • hey a trick for the bass.....i learned you can take all your samples and stuff putt it in the love filter but it in a low bass thing mess around and it will give it all good base line

  • What's the sample?

  • what the site to find the tempo plz ?

  • ok that helped man, thanks for the quick feedback, i have a mpd24 aswell.

  • I just started beat making like this and i have a noob question. i know how to use redrum, but i dont get why it doesnt show up in the track listing like it does you start recording samples. its confusing me so fuckin much, and how do you loop a beat without having to touch the computer like they do in some videos, they just do it and keep going layer after layer. any helps and comments would be greatly appreciated

  • There's two ways to do the thing with ReDrum:

    1:

If you want to have your drum pattern from ReDrum in to the arrangerwindow you can right click on ReDrum and choose "Copy pattern to Track" or

2: you can do like I did in the video, just hit the run button and let the pattern play in the background (I think this is what your where referring to)

  • The reason why I can record and play the track without clicking on the buttons is because I have a MPD24 (Drum machine). I use it as controller in the video.

  • @toothgrinder14 if you mean recording what ever you have playing on redrum to your track, you just right click on the redrum and click on (copy pattern to track)

  • thats wack recycle could tell u the bpm of the original song

  • What Software did you use for the chopping part

  • Audacity and it's free

  • any one know what his turntable is called

  • @lilkidbeats looks like a numark

  • It's a numark TTi

  • get fl studio and you can tap the bpm its mutch faster

  • why other 4/4 in the end?...don't u like only 4 measure?

  • Damn boy ur a genius.. i Must do that when i get ma keyboard !

  • not bad...nice lick

  • what was that bpm counter that u used

  • good job word soo far nice

  • What program do you use to figure out the beats per minute of the sample?

  • fire i could make a classic out of it

  • thass pretty sexy man keep it up

  • Yeahhhh very good

  • Good tutorial.
