Have you considered a yamaha Tri-Z disc brake front fork?

The 1985 35mm Tri-Z fork is (almost) a bolt-on! Either in drilled original triple clamps (33->35 mm) or the Tri-Z ones. Even better but harder to find is the 39mm 1986 Tri-Z front end, with longer stroke, and beefier looks..!
