That was world tournament and Lechi decided not to knock out this youngster from the Russian team. I can see it clearly. Lechi never used that weak strikes before. That was Lechi's fatal mistake, because there is no time for mercy when you participate in that kind of contest.

His famous kick is the reverse one. What I've heard is that Lechi was too cocky.. I mean the guy is a legend & one of the most DANGEROUS Kyoku fighter in the world.. However, he was apparently too confident on that one as he gave two KO the two fights he had just before.
Yeah! Completely agreed he was overconfident and already saw himself as World champion. I've even heard that he said once, that Ewerton might be kicked out by one of his pupils. Just like Pettas with lowered hands vs Pichkunov at 7th World tournament.

Well you can see it the video too that he was a little dizzy, but he wasn`t knocked out, in the K-1 he would`ve get a count and recover for sure.
No matter what it is clear that he lost. I`m just saying that I want a rematch.
