May God calm and comfort their souls and allow them to keep doing their work in their communities. I saw on the news this is the single worst wreck since the Carrolton bus crash in 1988, 22 yrs ago.

  • @darlou10 Yes there is. It is in shaped notes, though. I could send you a copy of it.

  • @MackyPro Do you have a digital file or would you be sending a paper copy snail mail?

  • @darlou10 I've got it in PDF. Not sure if it is a legal copy though. I got it from a friend of the Esh family and he got it straight from them.

  • @MackyPro Does it give any copyright info on the page anywhere? We may have a funeral coming up soon. I'd like to get this song soon. Do you have any other contact info? or maybe you could send it to me and I can contact them when things have settled down a bit for them. Thanks

  • @darlou10 Yes, it is copyright 2007 by Amos Esh. You can contact the Eshes at 270-864-1786. If you send me your email address, I can send it to you.

  • Do you have words? This is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

  • Incredible talent they had! Makes me think of the VonTrapp Family Singers! Such a shame that they weren't well publicized. I hope I can find their album(s)! May the Lord God embrace them and welcome them home!

  • A tractor-trailor crossed the median from the opposite lanes of I-65 and hit them. The driver of the semi was also killed.

  • Thanks for posting this. I just posted it to my Facebook profile.

  • My heart and prayers go out to all of the family, friends and love ones of this family. This song is beautiful. Which ones in the picture at the beginning of the video were victims of the accident?

  • @constdale the only ones killed who are on the picture are Rachel [girl on the left and Anna {girl on the right

  • @thevineyardworker Do you know how we can obtain one of their albums? Would proceeds benefit the family?

  • @1EachShog yes you can buy them from Faith View Books by calling 330.674.0684 or330.674.4129 I understand all profit goes to good causes as missions etc. The family will be deeply missed

  • betty the girl in the front is the sister that is serving in va.

  • the two girls in the middle anna on right rachel on left was fixing to get married ,her fiance' also died

  • They sound beautiful. So sad. I heard two small children survived.

  • I live about an hour from where the accident

happened. I go down to the Amish at times. My prayers are with you all in this untimely, heartwrenching tradgety. The song is magnificent and so touched my heart. May others learn from your faith and trust in the Savior. Ear hath not heard nor eyes have seen what has been stored up for those who are called according to His purpose. Till you see them again, may God bless, comfort and keep

    you.

  • beautiful! my soul rejoices for them!

  • Absolutely beautiful. Such a tragic accident. May you find comfort and peace knowing they are with the Lord.

  • May God be with all those involved in this accident and especially the two little ones that survives. Only God knows why these things happen and why only certain people survive. Passed the van wrapped in a tarp on the tow truck today..so sad, couldn't help but cry. Didnt know the Eshes but they will most definately be in my prayers

  • The Esh's were my neighbors and they were kind, loving and God fearing people. They will be missed by the whole community. You are now truly "Home." May God Bless.

  • I met some of the Esh and Yoder family members by purchasing a shed from their Elizabethtown store. They were extremely friendly and loving people. One of the fathers and his daughter came back later to do some touch up on the paint on the shed. We talked the whole time they were here and helped me become more informed on the Mennonites and the Amish ways. The planet has lost some very special people this day. May you rest in the arms of our Lord for all eternity. God Bless.

  • PTL!...they are HOME!

  • chilling but beautiful such a talent

  • Beautiful singing! It makes it even more beautiful knowing that they are there now! Mrs. Robert Miller

  • God bless this family.

  • May God be with friend and family that remain here.

  • Gave me chills. Beautiful and sad.

  • Today, March 26, 2010 this beautiful song has become a reality for several of these family members. The fiery early morning crash that left 11 people dead on I 65 in KY claimed the lives of at least six family members. They now can praise the Lord to the fullest since they are home. I've known this family since I was a small child. God bless the remaining family and give them strength and grace in their sorrow. Praise the Lord for this wonderful song.

  • @TheBeginningofWisdom What happened? I am a friend of a friend of theirs, and my heart goes out to the families. Are there any specific details on the accident?

  • They don't know exactly what did happen. All they know at this point is that a semi went through a wire barrier, crossed the median and hit the Esh family van almost head on and then struck a rock wall. NTSB will be in Kentucky for the next two weeks doing an investigation but they are saying that it could be up to a year before they find out exactly what took place. My prayers are with this family and all affected by this horrific tragedy.

  • I believe this family just found this song their reality! (Though I haven't heard if it is all of them or not.)

  • @wvtimberframe

    .

The following was contained in an article released tonight

"Several of the Esh's surviving children were already on their way back to Kentucky, including two sons who were missionaries in Brazil and a daughter who worked with developmentally challenged children in Virginia."
