  • GREAT shot Gene with the sun reflecting off the engines! That adds a lot to the video!

  • @zline18 Thanks my friend!

  • @DJGENEX71 Those trains come by there at 65-70 MPH and at night you don't even see them its just like a blur.

  • @DJGENEX71 What track does the coal train use? I know it comes from Wy. How does it get here? Does it go past the piggyback station in Austell or does it go by Atlanta?

  • great horn!! also great new view of the tracks!

  • @acelaboy123 Thanks! This is where I record daily unless I might go down to Mableton once and a while...NS made me stop recording from the triangle in the center of the tracks a few months ago.

  • @DJGENEX71 What a good place to watch trains. I have been watching trains there almost ever since I was little with my aunt. She lives in Douglasville, Ga.

  • @tylerbwell80 Indeed! I've been coming to Austell since 1975 or so to watch them also...been a lot of changes through there...Tommy and I live just down the road in Lithia Springs...

  • @DJGENEX71 You should check out my train videos

  • @DJGENEX71 oh by chance did you see the N&W 611 or 1218 come by there in the past cause by dad filmed those steam locomotives in the past before they were put on display.

  • I love the 54 series SD50's, Nice find!

  • @ArrowWolf1984 Thanks! I think this is the first one I've ever recorded before, and I have a lot of videos, maybe NS took it out of storage recently or something...

  • @DJGENEX71 I haven't seen any in person and I probably won't considering most of the remaining SD50's are becoming SD40E's. I'm a big fan of NS and CR SD Locos, I have SD50 5429 in HO.

  • @ArrowWolf1984 Nice!!! You should search my uploads and look at the HO stuff I have...just wish I had a darn layout or place/space to build a layout! I will soon hopefully.

  • @DJGENEX71 No layout space for me either, I get by with running my trains at the Model Railroad Club layout at my university. You have some neat stuff, good luck on your future projects.

  • awesome catch lots of EMD power!

  • @GhostFearMe Thanks Mel!

  • Cool! A slug? LOL! Not quiet but nice catch!

  • @CQDX018 Yes that lead unit is a slug. No engine only traction motors = slug.

    Thanks my friend!

  • nice catch with the slug leading! like hearing the classic horn on her too!

  • @NS2589 Thanks my friend! Glad they left that horn on her when they did the transformation from GP to slug!

  • Great video Gene! Some nice power there!

  • @rufec12 Yep, a slug leading the train, and a SD50 which NS has very few of, plus the Hi Hood on the end! Thanks bro!

  • Awesome video, Gene! That is some really cool power! The RP-E4C looks like a pretty cool slug, and I really like Road Slugs.:)

  • @GenesisSanctuary First time I've seen one lead a train, they look nice for sure! Thanks my friend!

  • Sounded like one of the units had a flat
