Also, they did not confiscate videos from cell phones. The police were on the platform. The passengers were on the train. The train door closed and the train pulled away when Grant was shot, so police could not have confiscated videos from cell phones from people on the train. Unless they stopped the train further down and illegally searched dozens of people.

Im not so sure keep in mind that the officer first assaulted the victim and was bullying him yet the victim still submitted to the officer's thuggish actions, then the officer pulls out his gun puts it to his back and pulls the trigger. I mean if there wasn't the previous incident of the officer assaulting the victim then I could see how it might have been an accident. If you had actually studied the video, as the experts who testified at trial did, you would know that Mehserle's actions were all consistant with someone who believed he was firing a taser, not a .40 cal pistol.
