@hetgow actually, the person who reviews the images is locked off in a small room and isn't allowed to bring in a cell phone. In fact, when we shot the report we were able to bring in our big HD camera, but had to leave our cell phones in a basket outside. Now of course, they can break the rules and bring their cell phones in, but that's the policy. No phones in the screening room.
Yea I have heard that song & dance before & that dog don't hunt.
I worked in secure military facilities stateside & overseas and yet despite all the 'rules' it was the ppl at the bottom (like tsa agents getting paid low wages) who would break the rules over & over again.
Fact remains the full body scan is nothing compared to the tremendous amounts of cargo, hundreds of thousands of tons on a daily basis, that is shipped by air & sea that NEVER gets checked.
are you talking about the green and white one? that's nicholas negroponte, founder of the MIT Media Lab and One Laptop Per Child project. He's using an OLPC XO laptop, a very limited and inexpensive computer primarily aimed at people in developing countries.

How is somebody suppose to know if their image is being kept or discarded, and saved for whatever reason necessary? Major violation of privacy.
