This is Trance because:

- Signum is a Real Trance DJ, made many good Trance Tracks from the beginning.

- Trance Tracks mostly have a Full Original Mix (like this one, starting with a basic beat of the song).

- Techno sounds more happy than this.

This tracks is quite old like 8 years ago. But it's really Trance.

techno is not happy man srsly, real techno came from Detroit and its very sinister in sound, driving percussion is the main thing. This has a driving percussion like techno which is why I asked. You might be thinking basshunter or other euro dance or hardtrance is techno well that simply is not true and is an insult to techno.

that song you posted is different from this is many ways, the most obvious being that the beat is constant and it never stops. modern techno isn't like that. well... hard techno is moreso like that. but techno generally now has become more like progressive house. and progressive hosue is becoming more like trance. it is a very weird thing. and trance has actually become ... i have no idea.... it just isn't good anymore. pop trance?

This is what I would call tech-trance. It's melodic bits are more subtle and rely more on percussion and sound effects to give off the emotions. But the breakdown is purely a trance theme.

Aye I've hear other tech trance just none of them came quite this close to actual techno, in this the bassline is a dead give away. Normally imo you don't get such a bassline in techno but this track is sooo clean it fits in there perfectly which is nice.

yeah signum usualy produced trance with a very techy and very disctinctive sound. thats the reason they will always belong to my favourite trance producers. unfortunately you find stuff like this rarely nowadays.
