You have to keep in mind, Bush was their commander and chief. A lot of the military was in full favor of Bush, which is why they voted him over Kerry. What a great man. After reading Lone Survivor I was amazed by his leader ship. He was already bleeding out when he made that call. And he still went into a damn Turkey Shoot to make that call. He is a man we should all look up to and strive to be. All my life I wanted to be a SEAL, unfortunately when it came time to enlist the army offered to pay for my college, so I went that route. As soon as I become an officer I'm going to become a Ranger, hopefully work my way to Delta. These men are my inspirations, God Bless these men and all men like them who do bad things to bad people so I can go to college and sleep soundly at night. HOOAH!

If we as americans could learn to mind our fucking buisness and quit all these wars these men would still be here along with 6,000 other soldiers and over 1,000,000 iraqi and aganistan civilians. These men were used by the government which had to know what they were going up against (200+ fighters almost a 60:1 ratio). The were given no air support, no proper QRF ever existed however 16 other brave men died trying to save these 4 men. Stop the wars, bring them home.

LT Michael P. Murphy (5-7-76 to 6-28-05) awarded Congressional Medal of Honor 10-22-07. Lt Murphy wore an FDNY company patch on his right sleeve for Engine 53/Ladder 43 in remembrence of 9-11 and a childhood buddy who was an FDNY firefighter. He could have gone to several law schools but chose military service instead. RIP
