is this a real game that whill be sold at bestbuy etc. or just an online which you got to sign up for because i dont know and this game is gonna be awsome =)
oh great after Star Fox 64 i aint getting this game Reason IT DOESNT HAVE KRYSTAL ughh u make Krystal fans angry ....... Fans say Fox Fans OK Falco Fans OK Slippy Fans OK Peppy Fans OK Wolf Fans OK Panther Fans OK Leon Fans OK Krystal Fans Fuck u lawl i got bored
The Main Theme from the original Starfox game is certainly an unforgetable classic. Who could forget such a tune? That's the kind of music we should hear more often if you ask me. It'd be a nice homage to the old-school days.
And now we also have the 3DS SF64 to be happy about. My hopes are that the game will be released in the next 6 months, and that the fandom will be rejuvenated (especially the old-school fans) in time for a beta release of SoL.
Cuthbert would certainly like to fashion himself as father Starfox, but he isn't. He doesn't dictate whether there will be another Starfox game, Miyamoto does. Cuthbert simply said HE won't be involved. Doesn't mean a new Starfox isn't possible.
Its a Fan Game,Nintendo might send a cease and desist, but why would they?its not hurting their sales and it might be good advertisement if they do decide to make a game.besides, they didn't close down zelda mobile or zelda classic so why close this game down?
@Dorgannn ya Star Dingo n the main character dudes name is Dingo (Fox). And the person that loves him is Kursed (Its not Krystal ok) and his Ace Pilot is Ratch (Falco) n is Engineer is Billy (Slippy) .....
Dylan Cuthbert himself has commented on SoL, and has stated he merely sees it as 'fanart' and not much of a threat to their sales, so he doesn't really care. As for Nintendo, they've been watching, no doubt, but they don't see it as a threat yet, so so far so good.
Is this just a Cop out of the acutual star fox games or what?? How are you not affiliated with nintendo, How did you get Permission from Nintendo To use the starfox name?
Its a Fangame, these guys arn't earning any money from this project.
If nintendo give them a Cease and Desist order they'll take it and stop working on this project, but normally Nintendo and many other companys are fine with people making non-profit fangames as long as its not overlapping something they're already making!
The entire game is completely fanmade. Besides, I have a quote Dylan Cuthbert who is the creator of three Star Fox games for Nintendo. He's not interested in doing one for the Wii. He also says Star Fox fans like furries. "It'd be a big project, like 100 people on the staff," he said. "It's just not something we really want to do." Wiimote control also doesn't appeal to him, although it sounds like he confused the question from the interviewer."The Wii is a bit more of a toy, I think."

It's a completely new game, unlike Chrono Resurrection, which was shut down because it was a complete Remake of a game currently on the market.
Even if Nintendo ever told them to stop making this, they could just change the name to 'Star Dingo' and it would be perfectly fine.
