Please don't be an ass by bringing young kids to this kind of event! I could barely hear Tom Davis or Ron Paul because some undisciplined kids sitting next to me and in front of me wouldn't shut up. The parents just sat there while everyone around them kept looking over trying to see why they weren't doing their job and handling the situation. If your kids are too young to know when to be quiet, hire a babysitter and leave them at home! I didn't drive to Myrtle Beach to hear your kid talk!

However, my point is that it's very rude to bring your kids to an important event, and then just sit there and do nothing when they are being loud and preventing others from hearing the speech. It's common courtesy to at least TRY to keep them quiet! I was talking with my friend as we were standing in line about how nice it was to see so many kids there, learning about Liberty. But some of the parents were just doing a lousy job of parenting last night.

I couldn't agree more that we need to move toward a resource based economy because I've discovered that money is, literally, the source of all evil. Please don't be an ass by bringing young kids to this kind of event! I could barely hear Tom Davis or Ron Paul because some undisciplined kids sitting next to me and in front of me wouldn't shut up. The parents just sat there while everyone around them kept looking over trying to see why they weren't doing their job and handling the situation. If your kids are too young to know when to be quiet, hire a babysitter and leave them at home! I didn't drive to Myrtle Beach to hear your kid talk!

However, my point is that it's very rude to bring your kids to an important event, and then just sit there and do nothing when they are being loud and preventing others from hearing the speech. It's common courtesy to at least TRY to keep them quiet! I was talking with my friend as we were standing in line about how nice it was to see so many kids there, learning about Liberty. But some of the parents were just doing a lousy job of parenting last night.
