"It's a great career," she said of teaching. "It's a great way to give back to the community."
When she went back to school to get her degree, she said she was surprised to find that many of the classroom management techniques also worked to make her a better mother.
Another thing that helped to improve her parenting through the years was the realization that children grow up fast and if parents don't make every moment count they'll miss out on much of the experience.
What Elder Oaks said was the truth, and the storys he mentioned are correct. I personally have witnessed many simlair converstion experiences. Truthly if any man will come and seek out the Lord he will help that man gain a testimony of his divinity
*chuckles* my... kind? :P.. no thats what a rational human being calls a man who tells stories that are supposed to affect weakminded souls to join his cult
No, weakminded as in, most people who converts to any religion is while they are in kind of distress or bad point in their life and therefore are more easily subject to religious influence. And honestly i dont care who are the most educated people in the US, i'm Danish so i couldnt care less
the word CULT. Used by the types of people who used to have marginalizing names for african americans. Now they have to marginalize another people with marginalizing names like cult.
I dont care who used the word "cult", cult is a common word for a religious group or practice outside the mainsteam, i think mormons fall under that pretty well
"cult is a common word for a religious group or practice outside the mainsteam"
actually CULT is used by your types to marginalize a group to make you seem enlightened and them seem less than you. Similar to the n-word.
cult:a quasi-religious group, often living in a colony, with a charismatic leader who indoctrinates members with unorthodox or extremist views, practices, or beliefs
Uhm, no, i repeat, cult is merely a word for a non-major religion. Has nothing to do with the word nigger, a word that i dont use, why would. Your definition of a cult is different from mine, i already explained what i mean by the word. Dont try to put words in my mouth. And what exactly do you mean by "your types" ?
I was refering to the "middle part" of your post - notice the "often", dictionaries are made so that all possible understanding of the word may fit under it. Arent mormons a religious group, dont you have pretty extreme beliefs? of course you do, all religions does. Now Shush, i need to sleep.
Again you assume things.. but that is of course the only thing you have done so far...I was refering to the fact that religion, including yours is based around supernatural claims, that makes them pretty extreme
No, this "this comment speaks indicative of you!" is assuming you can judge me from your own assumtion of what i ment, if when you actully didn't even care to read what i ment in the first place. The only thing you have done so far is to try and make my word mean something they werent inteded to do, not my fault you cant deal with the issue itself.
I am starting to think you are not even trying to get the point - Firstly, i didn't use anything outside of it its definition, as i explained earlier, secondly, and yes, the fact that you still cling to word games merely shows you have no response to the actual point, being that religions take advantage of people in their weakest moments.

Yes, the gospel is slowly being taught across the world. The blessings of God are being experienced by those who accept Jesus Christ.

"weakminded"
I guess if you say that enough you can somehow feel superior. Except Mormons are some of the MOST educated people in the US.

giving you a definition from a dictionary is an assumption?
or is that your definition of assume?

so because you use definitions outside of definitions, it is some how indicative of me?
