Check out Juno Reactor with Steve Stevens guest playing. Similar fat beat, great guitar, world influences. Great stuff.

Yeah, this is REALLY GOOD!!! Akira is quite the chameleon. He reminds me of Steve Stevens in that way. VERY prolific, taking bits and pieces and making up his own stew. This is better suited to him than the thrash style too. It's more groovy and melodic.
