@Kellyyu60 britain may have done slavery but so did every other country in the world as it emanated from the middle east. the british empire was one of the first to abolish it and remove it completely throughout the world from south america (by placing sanctions on south america and blocking trade routes) through to india; abolishing slavery in every country it ran or had ties with
@mobility987 "so did every other country" rather over generalised I may say? The Han Chinese abolished slavery at the beginning of the 1st century that's right - 2100 years ago. There were still human traffickings but never as a national policy as occurred else where in the world.
@0719MrAce did you think that not to be the point?every other country has had or found slavery acceptable at one point of time or another- that is true, so in what way is it over generalized? Britain is pretty much the first country to force other nations into abolishing slavery.Unless theres a dozen or so country's that abolished it before britain,britain is still one of the first-despite china having done it so long ago and still having gulags running now adays

the British empire being a better slave-master than the other tyrants does not excuse the sin of practicing slavery

No mention of the Penal Laws and ethnic cleansing committed by Cromwell here.

@Seano71
Oliver Cromwell as well was a English -REPUBLICAN- as well.
The lies the Marxist left spew in there pseudo-history and pseudo-intellectual anti-western and anti-white civilisation is overwhelming.
