@Underjoggle In Chaos Theory, the behind lethal move was the grab to the head, jerk back, and knife in the spine. The punch was the "non-lethal" move. The choke only happens when you've gone behind the guy and grabbed him.

They are diferent, you can only choke a character if you are actually holding it (non-lethal) but you can do the punch without actually holding the character (non-lethal as well)

wow are you guys serious? this is splinter cell chaos theory online co-op, one of the BEST online multiplayer games EVER made. That's final, the versus mode is Phenomenal! after this game the splinter cell series went down hill with the introduction of double agent, all they had to do was touch up the multiplayer from chaos theory but no....they re-did everything and Fucked it all up.....now it's not even stealth anymore, wtf ubisoft?

That's because it's for night and thermal vision. Tom Clancy originally opposed this idea, claiming it was impossible, but eventually it was incorporated into the games. Tri - focal lenses or petra - focal lenses are the only possible way to achieve 2 or more types of vision technology in one set of goggle equipment.

@kunoichisteph08 Because they don't show up to the human eye, they show up on television screens from Camera's, try look at what happens when you click a remote infront of your webcam, the little LED on the end of the remote flashes on the screen, but you can't see it with your eye, so basically think that "Your Camera" in the game, is actually a camera.. and it's also making it easier for you to see.. then again, security cameras defeat my logic, but they could be stupid ;p

@QCypher You are ALMOST right. Yes, the lights are as a reference for player, and guards do not see them. As for what you said about infrared, it is not really correct cause:

1. Sam's Night Vision Goggles aren't that cheap - they actually intensify the light coming from any smallest light source.

2. Infrared light would be spotted on cameras, as they can detect IR light.
