Um. Sunao Yoshida died of lung blockage. The manga-ka for the volumes, Kiyo Kyujyo is still alive. 0_o; ...Has it ever occured to you guys that maybe...it TAKES TIME TO WRITE THIS STUFF? The volumes are still in circulation, which proves that Kiyo-sama is indeed still alive and kicking.

Whenever I hear this song, I always think of the writer/artist of Trinity blood. It makes me sad that the series never got finished. But we should be grateful for what we did get from them. It's amazing. Truly is.

(if this is a spoiler...i'm sorry)this makes me sad....i've read the manga and seen the anime twice, and i feel so sad.

abel didnt deserve the life he got. having a brother whom he hated, and despising humans so much that he made himself an enemy of the world.

lilith is killed by kain and abel swears he's going to kill kain for what he did. at least that's what someone said on a forum and i knowit's not a liable source but i think it's true. when you read it, it makes sense. lol

if you were to read the manga, you'd get it...but she WAS in the anime. her name just wasn't mentioned. she's the woman with red hair and a very good tan in the space station when they're kids, i don't know what episode it was in. sorry. i think it's somewhere near the ending...you can check if you want to.

It's not that Kain went evil. If you REALLY watch the anime you'll see that there's a pivotal point in their time on the ship.

Abel was upset about the experiments being done on them and expressed an hate for humans. Of course the girls calmed him but Kain is and was very protective and loving of his twin, so he must have decided to make his brothers wish come true.

Somewhere along the way he must of completely convinced himself of his brothers idea, though Abel changed his mind long ago.

Creator? Are you talking about how they became vampires? (cough they aren't vampires) because they aren't created that way, they are born, grow up and die like humans-only around their 350th year.

However since the three are NOT VAMPIRES that's why they have lived so long. The three are Crusniks, vampires who live off other vampires.

They were created by an virus om an life form that was found on mars and used as experiments. (that's why the spaceship.)

The original source material are the novels, and there is a LOT of ground they didn't tread in them. So, a sequel can definetly be made. Will it though? I don't know, time will tell.

You know, people are very critical of Trinity Blood's anime adaptation, but you know, it really is well done.

Even with Sunao Yoshida's death, they still managed to do a pretty kick-ass adaptation of the series, and made it entertaining and somewhat endearing. As a reader of the novels, I was happy with it. Music is good, too, especially the ending theme used here.

I realize a lot don't like the final episode, but you know, I couldn't see it ending in any sort of definite way.

Actually, a second season would be pretty doable with Kain still running around alive and as far as I know it, Rosenkreuz still together and its members (With the exception of Dietrich) alive. I guess that leaves only Kampfer at this point, and he desperately needed more screentime in my opinion. He got majorly upstaged by Dietrich.

But the thing is that I have a hard time imagining gonzo actually MAKING the sequel. I don't think they will. :/

But that would be great if they did.

@sasusakui There are currently 7 novels released if you live in North America. They're all fantastic. There are two novel series: "Rage against the Moons" and "Reborn on Mars". Reborn on Mars occurs chronologically after Rage against the moons. I personally prefer Rage against the Moons, particularly the third novel "Know Faith". If you're a fan of Trinity Blood, consider giving it a look!

I love the show, and the song always put me in a state of pure serenity(good thing). It was sad when Abel didn't stay with his true love. This is yet another anime that I cried for because it ended. (This and FLCL were way too short).

If you want to see that whole story of Trinity Blood, than you should check out Sunao Yoshida's original works. They are much more detailed than the Anime or Manga, and they show dozens of stories that the Anime never showed.

i've heard that the writer of the manga had died and they're looking for a new person to continue the storyline so it has stopped at 24 episodes. it's also been said that a new season will come along but i dont know when, that had been said quite a long time ago!

Actually, it was the writer of the original novels, Sunao Yoshida that died. The manga is just an adaptation of those novels by Kyo Kyujo. The unfinished last novels were finished by Sunao Yoshida's friend, Kentaro Yasui. There is no plan to continue Trnity Blood after its final novel, which was "The Crown of Thorns."
