Sorry for the rant. Believe it or not, I don't hate Brooke. I love her in seasons 5&6 but she was just so childish in highschool and made a huge deal out of everything.
Let's not forget that at first Brooke only liked Lucas for his looks and Lucas liked her because she was funner and easier. Like I said none of the things Peyton ever did was an INTENTIONAL plan to hurt Brooke. It was just bad mistakes she made. Brooke in season for actually INTENDED to hurt Peyton. I don't think either are bad friends, but when you compare the 2, Peyton is an angel. But people are always gonna see Brooke as the freakin helpless victim who didn't do anything wrong.
I think it's HILARIOUS how people say that Peyton isn't a good friend. I seem to remember how Peyton actually tried to get Lucas&Brooke back together in early season 4. You know, when Brooke was being a selfish, immature, spiteful, jealous witch. Lord knows why Lucas wanted her back then. lol The ONLY thing Peyton did wrong was cheating with Lucas the first time. And even that wasn't an intentional plan to get to Brooke. She apologized and NEVER did it again. Lucas chose to be with her.
Two of my best friends had a fight in the summer and after many sessions of arguments, they eventually stopped talking altogether. At the start of December one of the girls mums died (her Dad had walked out when she was a kid) and the other girl, instead of rejecting her, or ignoring her, or making fun of her death!?!? Called her up and came to town to talk about it with her the very next day, and you want to know why? because that's what a best friend is SUPPOSED to do.
I think we all should remember that PEYTON told BROOKE first that she had feelings for Lucas, even though she wouldn't admit it.. Brooke took Luke frem Peyton FIRST !( The night PS was drugged, she tried to forget her feelings for Luke. (Remember?) And Luke felt for Brooke because she was easier than Peyton.) But I love PS and BD , and season 4. is the best season.. BECAUSE of all the drama ! :D
Peyton's such a lying bitch. She wasn't 'honest' with Brooke. She kept kissing and nearly had sex with Brooke's boyfriend MULTIPLE times. Brooke did it one time and they were broken up Peyton oversimplified it and made herself to look like the victim. She was pretty good at that.

This is what have happened: Peyton and Lucas went behind Brooke's back. Peyton kiss Lucas in the school shooting. It's bad, but what if Peyton did die? Would Brooke be pissed at her for kissing him? Brooke makes fun of Peyton's mums's(?) death, twice. The tape of Nathan and Brooke is accidentally shown in public. So as you all see, they've both done huge mistakes. BUT they got best friends again and that's what matters. I love them both!
Can we just leave this rivalry at rest with these two characters. They both had some wrongs. and thats why theyre bestfriends again, cause theyre both equally to blame.
i love brooke and peyton overall but come to think about it they reconciled over thier troubles like nikki in season 1 and yes peytions a jerk by sneaking behind her back with her bf but they reconcoiled over that too many times i would be madd if some1 would joke about thier dead mums like that they survived physco derek in s3 so come to think about it boys or girls come and go but a true friendship never goes away i`m on team brooke but i can feel for peytons hurt about her mums
I love both Brooke and Peyton but Peyton is my fav character because I can relate to just about everything she has been through ( except psycho Derek ! ) sits hard for me to NOT take sides yes they both have done shitty things but I mean COME ON they got over it so should you and it's a damn show awesome one but it's still a show calm down and you can say how much you hate Peyton or Brooke but nobody ever seems to blame Lucas or Nathan ?

Brooke was right for cutting Peyton out of her life. First she kissed her boyfriend three times(sober), lied to Brooke about it to her face, kissed Lucas AGAIN, and lied to her about it AGAIN. Brooke hooked up with Nathan(once while drunk) while Nathan and Peyton were broken up. And using Peyton's dead mothers were way out of line...So... I guess you can say they both did some fucked up things. :/
The fact that people could hate EITHER of these characters is beyond me. If you call Peyton a backstabbing two faced bitch and slut, you don't understand her character, and the same goes for Brooke. Both do things that are wrong, but truly, the best part of them is when they are best friends. They are good people and almost always good friends, and that's why I think taking sides on this whole thing is bullshit.
this scene is so moving I love the breyton friendship but Peyton is my fav character so in my opinion they both were in the wrong Brooke slept with Nathan during one of there notorious break ups and never told Peyton for years ! and Brooke fans don't try and pull the drunk card because she still knew what she was doing . what really pissed me of during their fight was when Brooke pulled the mom card . that was really messed up

I have always been "team peyton" and believe that she is in the right in this scene. Brooke always had an attitude that I didn't like, in season 4 to Peyton, and the beginning of season 3 to Lucas. Yes, Peyton and Lucas made a big mistake in s1, but she said that she forgave them, so she should stop bringing it up if it truly is forgiven. Plus she never got her facts right about the picture of them on her birthday. Basically, I don't like Brooke, and am team Peyton all the way!
I don't understand why all Peyon fans, and herself, are using the "she was just beeing honest with her", because she wasn't. She kissed Lucas and didn't tell Brooke. So she wasn't that honest.

Peyton was so sincere and honest about how hurt she felt about Brooke's treatment toward her. This was a great scene. I swear whenever you wanna take sides in the feuds on this show, something else happens to completely change your opinion. One of the reasons I love OTH!

Is it just me or is anyone else irritated with the fact that Brooke keeps saying Peyton went after Lucas twice? The second time they kissed it was because she got shot in the leg and was dying so that really doesn't count. So she only went after Lucas once not twice. Like this comment if you agree.

Peyton was wrong in s1 because Brooke was her best friend and you don't go behind your friends back w/ her boyfriend. WOW..I would honestly say this is one of my all time favorite scenes in OTH...I love it because its awesome with the fight...but its sooo sad!!! Peytons words really are true...I remember the first time I saw this part..a couple tears came!!! haha love them both!! I love both Peyton & Brooke, but I'm siding with Peyton. Brooke shouldn't have slept with Nathan, and she shouldn't have made fun of her mom. Yes, Peyton did sneak around with her boyfriend behind her back, but she also let him go because of her. And the second time, she did NOT steal Lucas from Brooke. She was just being honest with her. The ONLY reason Brooke overreacted and broke up with Lucas, was because she knew that he loved Peyton too. So, she sounds like a pretty good friend to me.

I really don't like either one, but Peyton seemed to love Lucas more than Brooke ever could (remember that at first, Lucas was more of a conquest to her than a bf/soulmate, like it was with Peyton). The fact that people could hate EITHER of these characters is beyond me. If you call Peyton a backstabbing two faced bitch and slut, you don't understand her character, and the same goes for Brooke. Both do things that are wrong, but truly, the best part of them is when they are best friends. They are good people and almost always good friends, and that's why I think taking sides on this whole thing is bullshit.

I have always been "team peyton" and believe that she is in the right in this scene. Brooke always had an attitude that I didn't like, in season 4 to Peyton, and the beginning of season 3 to Lucas. Yes, Peyton and Lucas made a big mistake in s1, but she said that she forgave them, so she should stop bringing it up if it truly is forgiven. Plus she never got her facts right about the picture of them on her birthday. Basically, I don't like Brooke, and am team Peyton all the way!

The only thing that Peyton was right about in this was the comments made about her mother. Everything else she has no right! Brooke slept with Nathan AFTER they broke up. I love both Peyton & Brooke, but I'm siding with Peyton. Brooke shouldn't have slept with Nathan, and she shouldn't have made fun of her mom. Yes, Peyton did sneak around with her boyfriend behind her back, but she also let him go because of her. And the second time, she did NOT steal Lucas from Brooke. She was just being honest with her. The ONLY reason Brooke overreacted and broke up with Lucas, was because she knew that he loved Peyton too. So, she sounds like a pretty good friend to me.

I really don't like either one, but Peyton seemed to love Lucas more than Brooke ever could (remember that at first, Lucas was more of a conquest to her than a bf/soulmate, like it was with Peyton).
