The minimum requirements look a bit high for what is there visually, and definitely high for a PC MMO. Star Trek Online is using the same engine, so it looks like if you want to run STO, make sure you can run this.

My PC *just* makes the minimum requirements (as regards Graphics card), but not the recommended requirements, and it was only bought this year. Mind you, I'm cool with that as I'm not a big gamer....I just fancied trying an MMO and I'm either going to go for this or Star Trek Online.

Nothing wrong with this game sounding like CoX. All CoX missed was introducing the new content earlier when they had a large fanbase and some mild improvements this game looks to have. I'll set aside my WoW boots to give this a go.

Well, it's supposed to be more action-y, without all the melee recharge times of CoX and shorter AoE and PBAoE recharge times. Plus, the graphics to a jump from CoX in my opinion. Also, I think the character creation is going to surpass Aion from what I saw on the site (which is pretty damn hard). But I do agree that this game SOUNDS alot like CoX. Then again, it was made by the same company so...

Though, it's kinda unfair to judge a game in the Alpha phase to a 5+ year running game like CoX.

Saying this game is like COH is like saying WoW is the same as age of Conan, they're both in fantasy setting, but nearly everything about them is different when you look beyond that.

Just like how champs and COX are completely different both in gameplay and style when you look beyond the comic book setting.
