  • If only Superman did exist ... the horror of 9/11 would have NEVER been executed.

  • Man. It gets me.

  • and yep - this song was one of the 1st to hit the airwaves again

  • This was one of the 1st songs that was removed from the airwaves in the US right after 911 ... it was too emotional ... but US peeps argued that it should be brought be back online ... so we were totally dark for a week - no TV - no radio - no airwaves - for over a week .. but this was one song that made it through to help us grieve - yep the song does have meaning to we US peeps during 911

  • 10 years :(..... never forget

  • got*

  • My father was a NYFD who was in there saving people. He go one guy out...And then we don't know what happened after...But his body was found a day later.....I was 5.......That was the worst pain I have ever felt....

  • wow thank you great video

  • I remember watching superman the animated series on toonami back after 9/11 thinking what if the world had a superman and then it all came to me in a way the firefighters, police and every office worker and every person on the streets who helped each other out that day were heros today as an adult i know the full extent of what happend and all i can say is thanks to all who helped out that tragic day GOD BLESS AMERICA!

  • God bless the first responders...and please never forget that some of them were 4-legged!!

Over 300 search & rescue dogs were down at Ground Zero helping to find & rescue survivors....and after there were no more survivors, those loyal hard-working animals worked tirelessly to find the victims...so their families would have some peace. They went into places no humans could get into....many got burned, cut, etc. BIG thank you to the NYPD, FDNY & our 4-legged heroes too!!!!

  • Beautiful <3

  • when this happened I was in boston. I rang the red cross and left for ground 0 to commence search and recovery but 1 hour our side ground 0 I got a call the stress was too much for my dad and he passes away. 911 changed all our lives

God bless all those who lost loved ones and never never forget.

  • Damn.. 9 years after the fact and I still break down in tears when I see anything related to that horrible day. God bless the NYPD and FDNY and everyone that lost something on that day.

  • @EyeHateChoo

I'm with you on that. I get chills at any pictures or video, and yet, I can't /not/ look and watch. We have to keep it out there, lest people forget.

  • @EyeHateChoo I hear you. I did remembrance day with my students, who were between the ages of 4 and 7 years and I was choked up each time I talked about it. I showed them this video and I tell you, what really touched me was that "even heroes have the right to bleed" and it shows the firefighters.

  • @KassidyKatherine I remember the radio didn't play music for days, and when they did eventually start playing a few songs again, this was the first thing I heard. When I heard the song, the shock had finally wore off, and the word "plane" is where I broke into tears for the first time.

  • @the0nly0ne243 That yanks at your heart strings completely. This song I cannot listen to without the 9/11 association. To this day, any footage of that horrible day makes me sick and reduces me to tears, but like I told my students...we cannot ever forget the day that took our innocence. For our grandparents, it was Pearl Harbor...for our parents', it was Kennedy. My parting words to them that day were "do not let your children have their innocence taken like yours was."

  • The FDNY and NYPD were the closest thing we had to Superman that day :(

  • excellent vid... excellent; god bless the families who lost loved ones in the planes and the NYPD and FDNY

  • new yorker here. i remeber this day to well.

  • thanx for the vid bro

  • to the NYFD NYPD and everybody that lost there life our lost there loved ones

  • yes we need some superheroes, but remember that we do have heroes anyone who are willing to walk into a building wich all the other people are runing from, they are HEROES god bless the firemen and police officers

  • Good job, nice Video! Never forget....9/11

  • We need a hero. Superman could have prevented that from happening, There's a picture of a guy with a bloody Superman Logo on his chest from 9/11
