Does love, trust, inspiration, creativeness and hate cease to exist because it cannot take physical form? There is no physical form to air-it exists. Yes, morality...if we all had the ability to align morality what a truly wonderful world it would be. If we create the Creator, we must create the morality. If we all shared the same morality, we would all die from natural causes. The name we give to ideas & beliefs can create an Iconic connection which empowers all. Perhaps read my comment again?

He wants to show you the pain he feels from losing his woman but i guess the way he decided to show his pain was by saying fuck it to something he knew would catch attention. not even what if he doesn't believe God created him, not everyone believes the same thing. I think this is a strong poem even though he comes at God like that but he's trying to make a point. I'm not saying I would but I'm sure God understand lol :D

I guess we all have our own thoughts on this but i like the poem itself but as to what he said about God i realize what he's trying to capture. He wants to show you the pain he feels from losing his woman but i guess the way he decided to show his pain was by saying fuck it to something he knew would catch attention. So i understand and see the creative point in which he tried to make but i don't feel that it was as effective as he had planned it to be. But none the less i like the poem.

Okay, I too agree that artistic programs need to get back into the system because that poem is horrific. lol There are many more words in the English language that could better articulate. But that's the whole point of the poem. I mean saying fuck Fanon, fuck Coltrane, fuck the Revolution (especially considering when this poem was originally written) that's some powerful, powerful stuff. The fact he's saying he cares about none of these things that we all hold so dear emphasizes the importance and the dependence he had on his woman.
Also this isn't Tracy's poem, it's an Etheridge Knight poem and Mos explains before the clip starts it's Etheridge's not Tracy's.

my thoughts are that he omitted it for emphasis. i tried imagining him crediting Etheridge Knight at the beginning or at the end, and it took the claws off of Tracy's performance. but whatevs. thank you for pointing out E. Knight though (i googled him after your comment).
