@beachwaver first of all urdu does not originate from hindi it borrows from a number of languages but most of it originated when a language called Braj Bhasha (a language of central india resembling to hindi) came in contact with other muslim languages of that time (Turkish, Persian and Arabic).

actually pakistanis are not purely Persian but they are a synthesis of Punjabi, Sindhi, afghans Iranis and some Indians

Hello friends, calling from Kolkata (or Calcutta as it used to be called) in India. This is a very nice track - lyrics, music, picturisation, everything is fine. But why are the ideas so heavily Americanized? I could identify cowboys, Pirates of the Caribs, shades of James Dean etc. etc., I think this is a Pakistani production with Pakistani actors and so on, so why not a Pakistani theme say for example, a NWFP background with Pathans (as we Indians call them)?
