I think when financial times are tough, everyone who can afford to pay for zoos should. That includes the government, corporations, sports teams and every person earning more than $100,000/yr.
Why? Because zoos are not just educational, not just entertaining - they are places to go to connect with nature, escape the stress, and hopefully come up with solutions when financial times are tough!
