How does the iphone 4 compare to the 3rd gen of Ultra HD? I have an Ipod touch 4th gen and I don't know if it was the right decision to get the Ultra HD 3rd generation 8GB.

The Flip is actually quite a bit better, it just appears to have vibrancy issues that could be fixed either by a setting in the camera (I don't have one) or really easily once it's on your computer. The iPhone, on the other hand, has seriously bad issues with handling light that are not correctable. But that's why it's a phone, and the Flip is a camera.

i see this when comparing the camera of an iphone 4 and any of the galaxy s (example, the captivate) the iphone 4 has a lot of color. that is a major difference of the iphones 5 mp camera and other phones 5 mp cameras. its weird because some magazines and what not (consumer report, which was afraid to put the iphone 4 in there, now says its the "number 1" phone for att, yet it isnt recommended. i recall it saying under megapixels that its 5, while others are 5.1,4.9,3.15, 0.3, 1.2,1.3, and etc

Flip Ultra is smoother, and iPhone 4 is a little better quality but jittery.

I agree with others saying the iPhone 4 focuses better and has a brighter, crisper, and less washed-out look than the Flip U-HD. However, I couldn't help but notice that the Flip seemed to handle movement better--especially when you were walking--than the iPhone did. The iPhone seemed a little shaky, but all around I believe the iPhone had a better playback and richer colors; winner iPhone 4 imo.

outside the contrast and focus of the iphone is a lot sharper, but the flip seems to handle the conditions better overall.

inside, the iphone comes into a league of its own and blows the flip out the water, the colours are much stronger and the image a lot clearer. great vid mate.

@roakfurt I honestly think they are about equal in video quality, until you add in the fact that the iPhone can focus, and it can shoot in dark places with flash. So yeah I agree it's better.
