quick question whats the main job of the firemedic? is their main purpose to provide patient care or do they have to jump in the fire too? just curious cuz im planing to be a fire-medic.

@filobreaker it all depends on where you get hired on at. Most fire-medics are assigned to a rescue or squad. Or if it's an aggresive type fire dept, they may put you on an engine or truck company. If you're on a engine or truck, you'll go in and fight fire. If you're on a rescue, then you'll do search and rescue at a fire and then if you find a victim then you'll treat them. You can usually go to your local FD and ask questions too. Good Luck. Where you from?

I am in love with fire department.

I knw tonss.

I enjoy the engine, truck, haz-mats.

I also love the new tiller trucks and stations.

Station 33, 34, and 35 are new and awesome.

@egyptworldtopgun Station19 and Station2 are being rebuilt right now, they are almost done with construction and the architectural design is amazzinggg. They will soon be the newest and most awesome stations in the department!
