You don't get a rise by mentioning the fact Emmylou still sells out concerts and still records thirty years after the seventies, or that she is revered as the greatest country folkie working today. His Mommy tucks him in before Letterman, so he doesn't see her rested voice caress a song as few ever do. Snark was invented to give guys like that a life.

It's easy to be critical but I wonder do you come from a musical background? Do you sing? As a singer myself you have bad days and you have good days as well. The voice is a very elastic instrument. I have followed Emmylou's carreer from it's beginnings and I can say at least for me she has gotten better with age. Her feeling of a song is rare and few can match her in this. She is an true artist. Keep on singin girl!!!!!!

WOW!!! What an absolutely stunning version of this GREAT song. This is why Emmylou Harris is one of my all time favorites. She is the soulful Angel who can break your heart with just one little subtle inflection. There is so much pain, strength, beauty, joy, honesty and wisdom in her voice. From it, one can sense the extraordinary mortal being from which this voice resonates and projects. And as great as she's been, she just seems to get better and better with time's passing. How lucky are we?

Still her voice can move the heavens and u can hear the emotion and depth in her voice so to start nitpicking over something so trivial just shows ur OCB potential.

Great version,no doubt about it,fived and faved.What I do doubt is the presence of Mark Knopfler.I love his and Emmy's collaberations but I don't think this is one of them.Please correct me if I'm wrong.:)
