well i think this video was wonderful. problly only becuz i am a coast guard myself. being a coast guard is nt easy. we have to swim in freezin water with 30 foot waves crashin down on us while savin ppl. so stoop callin us pussys, cuz were not. we r a hell lot better then the navy. we nvr give up.

Yeah, DC3 Bruckenthahl. He was stationed on the USS Firebolt as part of a Navy/ Coast Guard joint crew. He was killed while attempting to board a vessel in the Arabian Gulf. I was stationed there with Port Security Unit 307. We escorted the Firebolt into port so that they could off-load his remains for the trip home. The 110s are still there.

good luck with that rescue swimmer thing im in the coast guard and traing for that is 4 months long swimming all day they say its so intense that only 75 people go into it a year and more than half drop out

I hold more respect for the United States Coast Guard than I do for any other service or organization. With the biggest job and the smallest workforce, they are always there, ready to be a miracle for a struggling swimmer, or the crew of a sinking ship, or anyone else in need. Semper Paratus.
