as long as I buy 8000mcd leds will they be around the same brightness? It doesn't say whether they're ultra bright it just says 8000mcd...

I want to make a display 1 1/2 foot by 1 1/2 foot with 400 LEDs and i want it to be about the same brightness.

It's awesome how the LEDs are so damned powerful that they light up the edges of the surrounding buttons, and thus round out the highlighted area.
