thanks! a lot easier than I was able to read it haha! I have learned many things from you! you have helped me do things I once thought to be not possible for me.
Teresa, I know you must get a ton of questions but the yarn and other stitches in this video is just lovely! What size needle, and ply/type/colour of yarn are you using in this demonstration? Also, what are the stitches you have used in this sample? I'm a forever fan! Thank you for all your uploading and tutorial help!
@jsbach15 The crochet hook looks like a size I/5/5mm hook. The stitch is a single crochet with a picot edging. I do not recall the specific color but the yarn looks like a chunkier type of yarn.
Teresa, thank you so much for this video. I have had so much trouble grasping the concept of the picot, but this clears up all the "muddy water" for me! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much. I'm making my fifth prayer shawl with the picots around the edge and I am always confused when I get to the picots. My "teacher" is in Alaska for the summer and I was struggling. You're video makes it so easy to finish. A million thanks!!! Blessings.
Thanks, Teresa! Anytime I want to try something new in crochet, I just have to go to YouTube and watch your videos. I appreciate your efforts very much, and can learn from you very easily.
You will need to learn many of the crochet abbreviations so you can read the patterns. The other way is to learn to read the symbol chart so you can follow the pattern. A lot of crochet is written in abbreviations.
Thank you I was making a hat and could not get this stitch right and I knew you could make it more easy to understand if I could seehow to do it. Keep up the good work.
THANK YOU TERESA!!!!!!!! As I was watching this I had qyuestions about the size of them, if you could increase the chain, and you must have read my mind. You answered every question !!!Thank oyu for pointing me in the right direction. I am definitely going to use this edging on my next project, which I am about half way done.
thank you this was easy to understand and very helpful :)

how can i do picots with beads?
rituvip 10 months ago
@rituvip What you will do is thread your beads on your yarn first. Pick up the bead on the second chain of the picot.
