3 speed auto...its really a CVT (Continuously variable) meaning that the belt changes position which changes the speed as you pull and let off the throttle. I weigh about 150lbs and my friend clocked me with his car doin a little over 45mph...thats pretty dang fast when you're that low to the ground....lol in shorts and a T-Shirt....and flip flops!
