yes awful 'miming' missing lines haha, but I love the arrangement of this song - the piano and bass are funkee [in a good way]. Very catchy, strong beginning tails off at the end.
Ever since I've been a fan of Crowded House, I thought Neil was pretty damn cool. Then I see this video and the real music video for the song and I go, damn Neil's at least 50% more awesome than I thought.
Nigel's not here because he happened to be sick on the day this was recorded, and because the bass is such a large part of the song, they had Tim mime with it.
Tim miming bass...well, now I've seen it all. Neil finally becomes a "performer" - a lot changes between 1982 and 1983, huh? Thanks so much for posting!
Great to see Paul Hester!

God I love Neil. Such a superb musician and a real top bloke. I've had a crush on the man since I was 6 years old. XD

Neil still has that gold guitar...I love his loyalty to his equipment!! Well, I just love all he touches...Enz or CH, or solo...he is a GOD!!!

Yeah he's pretty awesome although I dont think that guitars costing several 1000's are exactly disposable pieces of equipment

Cool tune. I actually like this video better than the original video for this song.

Best tune on the album. Great bass

That's great...esp. when Timmy mimes "I know it well" after the road of ambition being a casualty trail.
