rly cool, but just wondering, this explosion looks like the same explosion from Stargate SG-1 I think it was 'Unending'...if you used it then fair play to you, but if you created this yourself than Im completely speechless

Hell yeah! The original was unimpressive, and the "updated" 1997 edition had already been done by Star Trek (Praxis explosion), but this had a satisfying "punch" to it! Kudos to you, this is great!

Big things explode slowly...unless the ejecta is flying off at an ungodly rate, this explosion should be SLOW. Makes it look like a huge event. This could be an object the size of a beach ball exploding, which is what the orginal model probably was.

Explosion looks great but the laser from the Death Star has no prospective. It would be cool to extend the shot and have the laser vanish, see it's impact moments later and then see Alderean explode from the inside out.

I agree, but the explosion's perspective is pretty good. Perhaps the Death Star perspective could be changed?

Sorry, I prefer the explosion from the special edition a lot better. This just looks like... well, CGI.

I will like to see an Old Bail Organa before the planet exploted but please Jar Jar is unnesesary it take you out of the movie

It's not Jar Jar. Just a random Gungan. Jar Jar is only affiliated with Tatooine, Naboo, and Coruscant. And in the end of Return of The Jedi, When it does a flyby of all the cities, you can slightly hear Jar Jar yell, "WEESA FREE," when it does a flyby of Naboo.

I like Adywans alternate one where you see the impact on Alderran from Bail Organa's home.

It would be great to see a little cameo from Yoda sensing what happened and Sidious sensing what happened.

The planets still explodes too soon.

It should DRILL ITSELF through the atmosphere, and into the ground - drilling - and some Alderaan people stare in shock & awe (everything tinted green) - and then a few seconds later, it explodes.

But Alderaan is supposed to explode instantaneously. Just listen to what Obi-Wan says. Lengthening the destruction was unnecessary.
