Kalkwasser Dosing Demonstration - Bulk Reef Supply

I bought the stirrer& and dosing pump, i had 2 problems 1- How much Kalk powder to be added?, on the stirrer manual it says to add 2 coffee cups, but on the powder's container it says to add 1 teaspoon/5 liters of water!

2- in which direction is the 1 way return valve, the one that feeds the stirrer with fresh water? coz basiucally after filling it up, i turned it off for a few hours then found out the the water flowed back from the stirrer back to the fresh water resevoir!

@Osramiko the recommendations are different for different uses. Follow the reactors instructions. The one on the kalk is if you were going to mix up a large container and slowly drip it in. 2) I dont have the reactor in front of me so it is hard to say, I would call aquamedic, they will have the quickest and best answer for you. 970.776.8630

stir it once , let it settle out and don't stir again , you want to minimize the contact with carbon dioxide

When I mix the kalkwasser how long should i let it sit until i can start dose it into my aquarium? Do i had to constantly stir it like when i mixing saltwater? Thanks.
