Her name is Derpy! :P The "Feather-brained pegasus, Ditzy" that was mentioned in the Winter Wrap-Up episode was never shown on screen, leaving uncertainty to the name of the pegasus, whether it be Ditzy or Derpy. As of the most recent episode, the name of the grey-bodied, yellow-maned pegasus was adapted as Derpy by RD. Therefore Hasbro themselves has said the name is Derpy. ^_^

No, her name was not changed. If you watch the scene carefully, you can see that Derpy was not in the bird-retrieval team, and thus Ditzy Doo was/is a completely different pony

But now she's no longer the developer of the show, and the staff changed the charecter name to Derpy because of the internet :P (true story)

I can confirm almost all of that is wrong. Faust said she MIGHT use Derpy's design (grey, yellow hair, bubbles for cutie mark) for Ditzy Doo, and she said that BEFORE Winter Wrap Up. And no, Derpy WAS NOT on the bird retrieval team. She was clearing clouds all day

@YOMAMAXXL Actually, Derpy is a fan-made name. She was supposed to always be Ditzy Doo, but Hasbro started paying attention to the fandom more. If you pay attention, Lyra, Spitfire and Dr.Whooves make more appearances as well. They just happened to make Derpy..well, Derpy.
