This was upheld recently by the conservative U.S. Supreme Court. Look it up; Also, an estimated 80% of weapons used in the cartel-related violence in Mexico come from gun shows and "legal" sales in Texas, Arizona and other border states. Again, this requires an encompassing federal response. Look up commerce clause.

In 1964 my folks paid $8,000 for an average home in Santa Cruz, California. In 2004, that same property was valued at some $800,000. That my friend is a 10,000% (ten thousand percent) increase. If the home had inflated to $16,000 that would've been a 100% increase;had it gone to $80,000, that would've been a 1,000% increase.So my figures are correct, since the property went to $800,000, that is exactly a 10,000% increase. I saw Obama on the news today boasting about his heartfelt sorrow for the family of the dead girl's parents. Times like that makes me think about the hypocrisy by the government as if they actually care? Needless to say he was using this as a stunt to put in place "under the home security act" more extreme measures to spy and control the population at large.

@Brando2290 I beg to differ. As long as guns are transported across state lines, the federal government has the jurisdiction to control sales. This was upheld recently by the conservative U.S. Supreme Court. Look it up; Also, an estimated 80% of weapons used in the cartel-related violence in Mexico come from gun shows and "legal" sales in Texas, Arizona and other border states. Again, this requires an encompassing federal response. Look up commerce clause.

Notice that these guns are not purchased in Mexico, or in California, or in South America, where they could be purchased through black markets. Why go to such trouble when they can legally be obtained due to gun show loopholes? Before you reply again, try to back it up with something resembling fact.

The fed reserve act was signed by wilson in 1913 and passed by a democratic congress. It is not entirely a private institution and has not been since the 1930's. Private or public one thing we might agree on is that America does'nt need a central bank monetering and manipulating currency. It's politicians both right and left that have convinced us otherwise.
